UAF INCITED SATURDAY’S BIRMINGHAM RIOTS

The media version about Saturday’s sickening events is, not surprisingly, a pack of lies propagated to either excuse or ignore the violence, blame other people for it and ultimately deny the fact that their multi-cultural project has failed miserably.

This is the truth about what happened in the city centre on Saturday, written by people who were there. Those familiar with what happened prior to the Bradford riots of 2001 will find the origin of the Birmingham riots sadly familiar. On Saturday, in response to weeks of rumours regarding a planned protest against Islamic terror/fascism, a group ironically entitled ‘Unite Against Fascism’ turned up in the city centre. This group carried placards opposing the BNP and speakers incited the crowd with quotes the BNP leader has made about Islam. However, the BNP were not even in the city centre and were not involved with the anti-extremist demo that was allowed to take place briefly in Victoria Square. These protesters even carried placards stating clearly that they were not the BNP!

However, that did not stop the likes of Cllr Salma Yaqoob of the Muslim Respect Party screaming through a microphone repeatedly that “THESE ARE OUR STREETS”. What must be made clear at this point is that she was addressing a predominantly Muslim crowd, at this point numbering about 150, with a handful of placard-carrying whites (the sticks holding the placards were later used to attack innocent white passers-by and the police). What Cllr Yaqoob must have been aware of was that in impressionable young Muslim minds the words ‘OUR STREETS’ can mean only one thing...

And so the chaos began soon after the provocative speeches ended, the UAF melted away and hundreds of Muslim youths went on the rampage. The UAF incited this riot, just as they did in Bradford eight years ago (when they were known as the ‘Anti-Nazi League’). Of course we are not saying that what happened on Saturday was on that scale, but it is troubling to say the least. The thugs were stopped by the police in their attempts to reach the peaceful protest in Victoria Square, so instead they roamed the streets all night looking for white people (predominantly young white males) to attack. White girls were also targeted, although the motives were sexual molestation and the humiliation of their boyfriends who could not act in the face of mass thuggery. The police in the Bullring also came under sustained attack and all manner of missiles rained down upon them. Bins were ripped up and hurled, as was the railing installed by the police themselves to control the UAF. Bottles, traffic cones and the wooden sticks supplied by the UAF were also thrown.

During the two hours of ongoing disorder at the Bullring there appeared not to be a single arrest of an Asian person. In fact most, if not all of the arrests, appear to have taken place when the police decided to run the protesters in Victoria Square out of the city centre, literally. Another witness tells us that he was walking towards Millenium Point at about 7:30pm when a crowd of white youths ran past him pursued by the police. Most of them were surrounded and bundled into police vans. Another source confirms that the protesters were told to either leave the city centre or be arrested. No such demand appears to have been issued to the hundreds of Muslim youths rioting in the Bullring. West Midlands Police have since said that they are studying video footage and may make further arrests.

We won’t hold our breath. During Saturday’s trouble they did not act to prevent a single act of unashamedly racist violence against innocent white folk. In fact on several occasions, they were seen to walk away.

A shameful day for the city, a shameful day for the police and further confirmation that multi-culturalism will collapse in rivers of blood.

BATTLE FOR BRITAIN ROADSHOW HITS BRUM

The BNP truth-truck rolled into Brum yesterday on the West Midlands leg of the Battle For Britain roadshow. The campaign for this June’s European elections stepped up a gear as activists from across the city assembled themselves at the stop-off points for this splendid vehicle.

Birmingham motorists and pedestrians got their first sight of the truck as it rumbled along the A45 Coventry Road, passing the busy shops of the Sheldon area before parking up alongside a BNP stall organised by local organiser Richard Lumby. Following a rabble-rousing chorus of car horns and ear-bashing from the local BNP voters the motorcade moved onto its next venue – the troubled spot in Billesley that has become a stand-off between Islamist expansionists and the free-thinking pro-British locals. The presence of the BNP truck and local activists once again sent a message to the Muslim elders that Billesley will not succumb quietly to the burgeoning Islamification of our city.

There were two more stops for the truck after the show of solidarity in Billesley and yet two more paper-sales organised by South Birmingham BNP. This was a record number of separate same-day activities for the same group – testament to the growth of the activist base, particularly on Les Orton’s patch!

Our enemies would suggest that the motorcade just carried the same activists to each area, but these photos prove otherwise because the faces are different each time. That is, of course, with the exception of the ‘roadie’ Simon Darby!

RETURN TO VIOLENCE FOR MINISCULE REPUBLICAN SLIME

Saturday 7th March was a sad day for these islands of ours. For it was that evening that the vile men of terror returned to do their worst on the streets of Ulster. Once again it came to be that our mainland city, with its significant Irish community, was not untouched by this wicked act. Sapper Mark Quinsey, one of the two soldiers gunned down, was from Warstock in south Birmingham.

Aged just 23 and about to ship out to Afghanistan, the last thing he or anyone else expected was to be killed in such a cowardly way on home soil. Everyone thought that those days were behind us, but sadly a very small minority in that part of the country want to drag us back to the bad old days of misery, bloodshed and terror. But no, we must remain resolute and steadfast in our solidarity with all the people of Northern Ireland who have reacted to this fresh outbreak of violence by saying "NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN".

Peace and prosperity are too vital to be wrecked by such a small number of fanatics. Let us hope that the police apprehend these people before they can do any more harm, but let us also hope that, unlike that which happened under the Good Friday Agreement, this new breed of terrorists are locked away - for good.

CORPORAL ROBERT DEERING KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN

33-year-old Robert Deering of Sheldon, Birmingham, was sadly killed on active service in Helmand Province on Sunday. Cpl Deering belonged to the Commando Logistic Regiment of the Royal Marines and was part of a convoy near the Afghan town of Lashkar Gah. Clp Deering had gone to inspect an armoured personnel carrier that had been struck by an explosion when a secondary blast occurred, killing him instantly.

His commanding officer, Colonel Andrew Maynard, spoke fondly of him:

"Corporal Rob Deering had the heart of a lion and the courage to match. Having served on operations with the Royal Marines around the globe in Kosovo, Iraq and once before in Afghanistan, he was no stranger to risk, but faced up to it, displaying the finest qualities of the Commando Spirit: courage, determination, unselfishness and cheerfulness. The latter, in particular, was a trait that he is remembered for as a larger than life and popular man, who loved eating and drinking in good company. The mountain of Christmas parcels he received is testament to his popularity.

At work in the Commando Logistic Regiment Royal Marines, where he had spent most of his career, he was well known and had recently qualified as a Vehicle Mechanic at the most senior level. His loss has been a tremendous shock to us all in this extended family, represented by our Regiment. Collectively, we reach out to support his parents, and his fiancée Gemma, and share their loss and their pain; our thoughts and prayers are with them at this time."

Cpl Deering had joined the Royal Marines in March 1998.

FASCIST UAF SCUM OUT OF BRUM!

New faces and old alike joined forces together yesterday in Birmingham city centre in support of the suspended nationalist teacher Adam Walker. The vile buffoons of the bizarrely titled Unite Against Fascism (UAF) group also turned out in much smaller numbers. Within minutes of organising the nationalist demo the UAF vermin charged at the police leading to two of their number being dragged away in handcuffs. The nationalist protest remained dignified during the melee and not a single arrest took place among their number at any time during the day-long protest.

The rabble of the UAF soon scuttled off only to return again in the afternoon where they once again left with tails between their legs, utterly outwitted by the nationalists who responded to their chanting by thoroughly enjoying themselves. TROOPER JAMES MUNDAY KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN

The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that the British soldier killed in Afghanistan yesterday was Trooper James Munday, pictured above, of the Household Cavalry. Trooper Munday was 21 and from Coleshill, having joined the Army in 2005.

The soldier was driving a Jackal off-road vehicle during a routine patrol in Helmand Province when the convoy was struck by an explosion. Trooper Munday was pronounced dead at the scene, whilst two of his colleagues are recovering from injuries sustained in the blast.

His commanding officer, Lt Col Harry Fullerton, spoke very highly of Trooper Munday:

"Trooper James Munday was, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best of his generation. He was a rising star in his peer group and a truly brilliant Life Guard and Household Cavalryman. He excelled at all he turned his hand to."

Trooper Munday had previously served alongside Prince William and a Royal spokesman spoke of the sorrow felt by Princes William and Harry at the news of his death:

"Together with the rest of their regiment, the two princes’ heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this most distressing of times. Trooper Munday was in D Squadron with Prince William, and he remembers him as an exceptional soldier."

The following quote is from Trooper Munday’s family:

"James was an adventurous, gracious and caring son, who excelled as a soldier and died doing a job he loved."

BNP OUT AND ABOUT IN SOUTH BRUM

South Birmingham BNP have maintained a very high profile in recent weeks. Two weeks ago they set up a stall in Northfield with a 90 per cent positive response, followed a week later by a visit to Cotteridge that reaped a similar response of around 80 per cent. Yesterday the boys and girls were out in Billesley and combined their familiar stall with a leaflet drop and petition for local residents concerning an unwanted development on Yardley Wood Road. Activists reported an astonishing 100 per cent positive reaction from the public!

Of course this was undoubtedly helped by the news that the small (but growing) local Muslim community are out to turn the old doctor’s surgery into a mosque. The BNP message was simple – the three Tory councillors wouldn’t stand in the way of such a development, nor would the Labour MP, but there was a party that would take a stand on behalf of the silent majority … the British National Party!

Party activists were out relatively early for the Billesley day of action and had descended on the area by 0930hrs. Whilst the bulk of the team set up the stall outside the local shops, four members set off to deliver an edition of the Billesley Patriot to homes around the proposed development. This excellent leaflet was designed by South Birmingham’s very own Jim McPharlane.

The leafleting itself drew a positive response and the busy activists soon found that their newsletters were running out. However, in stepped a local supporter who kindly offered to let the team use her photocopier to boost supplies and the door to door delivery was back on track in no time. This particular resident will be commemorated in style, in due course, when she is made the guest of honour at the forthcoming BNP meeting in the south of the city.

Back at the stall the sales team were besieged by locals, many of whom had no idea that a mosque was being proposed on their own doorstep. Although a petition had not been planned in advance by the party, due to the fact that an independent one was already in circulation, such was the response that the activists set up an impromptu petition to pacify the irate locals.

Voice of Freedom newspapers, Billesley Patriots and various other snippets of party literature were flying off the stall and there were conversations sparking up all over the shop!

News spread fast and soon the local resident who had organised the original petition showed up and graciously handed over unsigned copies of his own version so that the BNP could continue his campaign. He was delighted with the team’s efforts and was by no means alone. One lady took an entire sheet with her so all of her neighbours could sign it.

By this point people were stopping their cars and emerging merely to sign the petition and wish the team good luck. Suddenly the silent majority of Billesley were not so silent any more!

Only time will tell if the establishment is prepared to betray such hardened opposition. If Billesley doesn’t want a mosque the people will know where to place their cross when the next election comes round.

AN OFFER NO NECHELLS KNIFE-MAN WOULD TAKE UP!

Black and white really did unite in London today, but surprise surprise this was not a UAF sponsored event. Celebrities joined the public on the anti-knife-carrying rally held in protest against the despicable wave of murders being carried out in the capital. Black representatives were joined by concerned members of the white community in addition to celebrities from both racial groups. Hence the reference to the UAF, a left-wing group that consistently undermines its own motto by showing that its supporters are exclusively white, priviliged and tax-dodging scruffy bastards.

The UAF were well advised to stay away from the anti-knives event because apparently there were going to be real black people there! That's right - from the hoods and the ghettos and everything, oh how terribly awful!

"HOW ABOUT BEING A MAN IN THE BOXING RING?"

This was the message of Olympian gold-medallist James DeGale, pictured above, who is neither black nor white (much like the BBC's much anticipated America's first "black" president). However, while we may scoff at the BBC's racial unawareness, there is much credit due to this young chap as his message is delivered directly to the scum who terrorise that city, none of which will ever heed the call to set foot in the ring and fight man to man.

It is tempting to say "James, please come to Brummagem and tell the Burger Boys to step in the ring with you."

However, on second thoughts, you're a role model that needed to come along 25 years ago and the people you need to reach aren't listening any more. Don't bring that message to Newtown if you value your life. Afterall, your ever-present medal wasn't even on show in the full glorious sunshine of a Saturday afternoon in London.

Things must be bad, but thanks for trying James.

Saturday is traditionally the main attraction at the annual Red, White and Blue family festival, a fact that was not lost on a violent crowd of Labour Party activists and Labour Party front groups such as 'Unite Against Fascism'. It was a Mugabe-style scene as this marauding rabble of sick individuals attempted to storm the RWB site and presumably destroy everything therein, young families and all. The state-sponsored mob charged police lines, but hundreds of officers had been drafted in (at taxpayers expense) to stop the vile mob from running riot.

This quiet rural part of Derbyshire has never seen such violent disorder and it was particularly shocking for residents having experienced such a friendly and peaceful event this time last year. Of course last year there were no troublemakers from the left to cause any problems, therefore the shameful scenes seen here this weekend are a disturbing departure for a government who has failed before to bring this party down.

The police reportedly made 33 arrests and stood firm against Labour's rent-a-mob preventing more serious disturbances had the thugs succeeded in their aim. One BNP witness remarked how ironic it was that the UAF slogan was 'Black and White Unite' yet there wasn't a single black face in the crowd. Irony, however, is lost on these pathetic animals.

THIS LITTLE PIGGY AND THE ENEMY WITHIN

Forget the terrorist attack in Exeter and cancel all leave because someone's upset a few Muslims in Cornwall!

The dust had barely settled in Exeter's Princesshay shopping centre when a proposed Asian community centre in neighbouring Cornwall suffered the misfortune of having a pig's head nailed to its door. The 'racist' memento left at the former Methodist church has not only attracted as much publicity as the attempted bombing in Exeter (if not more), but it has driven Devon and Cornwall Police to conduct a disproportionate manhunt for the culprit.

This is not only absurd, but sickening to the very core, coming at a time as it does when one of Britain's smaller police forces is investigating an attempt on the lives of untold numbers of innocent people. Lost limbs, lost lives, shattered families and untold pain and misery could have been brought about by the bomb attack in Exeter, but what were the potential consequences of the incident at the Asian community centre? Basically, a handful of Muslims may have had their feelings hurt!

It must be said that we have upset some regular visitors to this site by displaying the above image, as had been noted in the bizarre comments section of one of our posts from February. This section is currently a cross between a hate-fest and an online dating rendezvous for Muslims. We don't know who Peter is, but we do know that a link to the article appeared on a Muslim discussion board some months ago and we have since posted every comment, however vile, merely in order to reflect social attitudes. The person who 'ordered' us to remove the above image and appears to believe we did so on his say-so will, of course, be saddened to see its return. We won't lose any sleep.

Meanwhile, back to the dhimmi behaviour in Cornwall. The Muslim owner of the community centre has since claimed that it will serve not only Muslims, but also Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists and Christians, a fact that has since been deployed as propaganda by that most predictable collaborative partnership - the police and the media. The BBC and D&C police have been quick to tell us how the pig's head was therefore an attack on all communities.

Here in the West Midlands we are all too familiar with a dhimmi police force and sadly the Devon and Cornwall boys in blue appear to be the latest to join an ever growing list of submissive British police forces.

A PICTURE TELLS A THOUSAND WORDS

Regardless of whether or not you agree with the message behind this particular piece of performance art in the centre of Birmingham earlier this week, surely we must all defend the right of all individuals to peaceful protest? Unfortunately the officers of West Midlands Police saw things differently after apparently receiving a number of complaints about the above stunt. The young lady on the griddle and the pretend chef were campaigning for more people to become vegetarians, but were threatened with arrest if they did not stop their protest.

The problem seemed to surround the scantily clad nature of the female activist and an officer told a reporter from the Post that there were ‘a lot of children milling around’. However, the young lady was not naked and was not doing anything obscene, but merely lying there as part of the act. Advertising boards across the land have featured the bikini-clad likes of Myleene Klass on them, so what was so different here? Ah, yes, we are in Birmingham.

This is the city where such posters are defaced in Muslim areas, either being torn down or all the flesh being painted over. This is the city where Salma Yaqoob, the female Muslim Respect candidate for Sparkbrook & Small Heath at the last general election, incensed local Islamists for daring to take out an expensive advertising board in Sparkhill with her face uncovered. And what do we see in the picture above? Look again and you will see a great contrast, a clash of civilisations in the heart of England.

Behind the two veggie activists we can see what appears to be a Muslim lady, covered from head to toe. Is the growing dominance of Islam here in Brum what really strove the police to intervene? Tellingly, the female activist was quoted by the Birmingham Post as having said: “We have been to Manchester and Liverpool and we have had no problem there.”

Manchester and Liverpool do not have the thoroughly enriching honour of Muslims constituting one fifth of their population. Manchester and Liverpool do not have the honour of being served by a police force that protects Muslim extremists.

Perhaps Sir Paul Scott-Lee has advised his officers to engage in a crackdown on all scantily clad women. Next stop Broad Street!

Today is election day and for the third consecutive year every single voter in the Second City has the opportunity to vote for the British National Party.

There are many reasons why people vote BNP and you can view the party’s election broadcast here. However, we in Birmingham face a particular problem that has far-reaching implications and we at Patriot think it’s about time we all opened our eyes and minds to the peril in our midst. We don’t apologise for this frank portrayal of what has gone and what is coming, but please remember that today you will have your chance to have your say about it.

Our city is changing, but it is not for the better. Birmingham grew out of the industrial revolution and it was built by a multi-cultural workforce, not of Pakistanis and Afro-Caribbeans, but by local English people and the Welsh, the Scots and the Irish. Together we built this place into the city of a thousand trades. Now all we have is the city of a thousand crimes or the city of a thousand languages.

We built our homes, but in the last few decades we have been pushed out and replaced. We now stand on the precipice of becoming the first city in the United Kingdom whose indigenous British community is an ethnic minority. To those who have not yet left - Brum no longer feels like home.

You might have expected that such a process would have been opposed by those in government, but in recent years we have had all three main parties in various degrees of control and none of them have done anything to address ethnic displacement. There is only one party prepared to stand up and say ‘enough is enough’. A vote for the BNP is a statement that Birmingham should maintain an identity in keeping with what had been envisaged by those who built it.

However, the old parties of the Lib-Lab-Con want to destroy the Birmingham our forebears knew. The Labour MP for Hodge Hill said only last week that our city needs more immigrants and wants to import another 100,000 to add to those who are already straining public services to breaking point, in particular the NHS. The most unsettling thing about Liam Byrne’s remarks is that he is also the government’s Immigration Minister. The following map of the UK shows that Birmingham already has one of the highest concentration of migrant workers so why would we want any more? The truth is that we, the British people, are being systematically replaced.

If you haven’t got the picture yet you probably never will, but the same people who make the most absurd claims about the ‘extremist BNP’ are themselves guilty of the most appalling crimes. The Lib-Lab-Con policies of mass immigration and multi-culturalism are leading this country to a very dark future, one in which it will be dragged back to the Dark Ages by a vicious political ideal that first manifested itself in the Middle East in the 7th century. The policies of the Lib-Lab-Con will lead inexorably to this disaster, but time has not run out. As long as the BNP exists there is political opposition to this insane plan and the ballot box remains the biggest weapon in our arsenal.

So please go out and vote, but remember the stark choice that we face in this city of ours.

It really is all about whether you want Birmingham or Birmistan.

TEN VALID QUESTIONS

It is now almost three years since the Nanjing Automobile Group purchased MG Rover, but still there is no sign of production at Longbridge. They were quick enough to dismantle the site and ship it all off to China, but despite all the promises since then nothing has been produced back here in Brum. Last year Nanjing merged with the original favourites to buy the car plant, the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC), but now no-one seems to want to talk about the future of Longbridge, assuming that it has one.

The Birmingham Mail has now published ten valid questions for Nanjing/SAIC, but don’t hold your breath on a response to any of these …

1) Who is now running Longbridge - Nanjing or SAIC? SAIC President Chen Hong has made the most recent public statements. Is SAIC now solely in charge?

2) When will volume production start? Is there a definite date?

3) Has the plan to produce MGTFs been scrapped or amended in any way, as someunion leaders fear?

4) Do you plan any form of kit assembly, importing from China rather than the volume production promised?

5) How many jobs do you now realistically envisage at Longbridge? Are any new models planned?

6) Nanjing originally said production would restart in early 2007, then last autumn, then the end of March 2008 and now it looks like July at the earliest. Why have so many projected launch dates been and gone?

7) Why have you decided, apparently in a joint decision with Stadco, to end body shell assembly, leading to the potential loss of 30 Longbridge jobs already?

8) Why will you not meet with the unions to discuss their fears?

9) Why will you not update the dealers you appointed last year on the progress of your plans?

10) Why will you not talk to the press?

Indeed.

THE BAVERSTOCK REBELLION

Wednesday 23rd April 2008 may have been unmarked by the many, but it remains a poignant day for the few. The West Brom parade may have been low-key when compared with previous years, but there is an undercurrent that refuses to go away. This year the flags stayed out a little longer in Anglo-Brum and they also sprang up like beacons of defiance in occupied areas of the city. As far as we are aware there were no adverse effects of such a display of English pride in those places, but it came as no great surprise to see that the primary denigration of English identity came at the hands of one’s own people.

For those unfamiliar with the events that took place at Baverstock School on Wednesday you can click here for a fairly accurate report by the Birmingham Post.

An anonymous post on Simon Darby’s blog claiming to be from a teacher at Baverstock says that the pupils concerned were ‘defiant and rude to staff’ thus seeking to justify the suspensions. If this is true then it is interesting to note because it shows that the undercurrent is not only turning to rebellion, but it is being manifested in our young and shows that the multi-cultural doctrines of the classroom are failing to kill off English identity at its most vulnerable. At Baverstock in particular it seems that the persistent celebration of all other cultures led to a rebellion by a number of its pupils when it came to celebrating their own.

Perhaps it was on being told by their teachers that this was unacceptable that the pupils became frustrated and therefore ‘rude’, but their defiance had already been shown by the mere act of daring to celebrate the patron saint of England in an overwhelmingly English school in the heart of England.

All self-respecting English people who know a little bit about our history should applaud those boys and girls at Baverstock because they showed some of the backbone that the liberal elite has tried so long and hard to strip out of our people. When given the choice between denigrating themselves and being excluded they took the moral high ground and walked, flags and all.

It is only the bold and principled stance of these youngsters that this story ever saw light of day. The despicable actions of the teachers and the reaction of the English community gave this disgraceful incident the widespread media coverage it warranted. The local BNP also did its bit, thanks to a chance encounter by South Birmingham BNP organiser Mike Bell. He was crossing the Green in Kings Norton on Wednesday morning when he passed a group of Baverstock schoolgirls decked out in the colours of St George walking away from the direction of the school. On wishing them a ‘Happy St George’s Day’ he received the full story and promptly got on the phone to the school, the local media and, of course, Birmingham Patriot.

We apologise for not having posted this article sooner, but please remember that we are entering the final days of an election campaign and it’s all hands to the pump! We were still the first to publicise the story (thanks to Mike) albeit with a very basic report featured at the top of the page.

Ten years ago the English did not care for St George’s Day and England flags were reserved for football. Now there are thousands who commemorate this date and the number grows year-on-year. The seeds of rebellion are growing and the ivory tower anti-English elite don’t like it. They have tried to extinguish our pride, they have tried to stamp on it and denigrate us to the point of submission, but instead we grow stronger.

Next April let us witness a sea of red and white and if that means every English pupil has to stay out of school for one day then so be it.

TACIT MESSAGE FOR WEST BROM MARCHERS

Sunday’s dreary weather conditions appeared to have an adverse effect on the turnout for this year’s St George’s parade in West Brom. Although many thousands stayed at home this year, the Birmingham Mail’s estimate of ‘hundreds’ was way off the mark and there was still a couple of thousand present (one must remember also that Britain was baking this time last year). Proceedings began with a handful of speeches and a rendition of Land of Hope and Glory.

Although us Brummies weren’t familiar with all of the speakers we certainly couldn’t help but notice the rather surprising message that was being sent out to the crowd. Rumours had abounded once again that the Labour-run council is planning to scrap the parade next year, the idea of which drove two of the speakers to remind marchers that polling day is around the corner and they should think about voting for the party that will ensure the parade isn’t banned. They may or may not have been aware of what message this was in fact giving the crowd ie. that they should all go out and vote BNP on May 1st. The truth is probably that they didn’t realise how their words were being interpreted, particularly when you consider that the company they were sharing on stage included the committed multi-culturalist and hypocrite Carl Chinn. When he recognised the BNP snapper his face was quite literally a picture.

Still, if these people want to inadvertently tell people to go out and vote BNP, who are we to complain!

The parade itself took the familiar route from Stone Cross to Dartmouth Park and several organisations marched in formation. These included members of the British Legion, the West Midlands Fire Service, the British Ulster Alliance and also the Northfield Caledonia Pipes and Drums who are based at the Austin Club in Longbridge. The BNP presence was much more low-key than usual due to events elsewhere, notably the re-enactment of Enoch’s famous speech. However, a number of activists made the journey from Brum including Mike Bell, Pete Longton and Ray Thomason, plus there was the local contingent led by Cllr Russ Green.

Regional organiser Simon Darby also stopped by on his way to the Burlington Hotel in New Street to commemorate a landmark speech that took place there 40 years to the day. Back then it was called the Midland Hotel and the guest speaker was one of Birmingham’s most famous sons – Enoch Powell.

Peter 'Enoch' Mullins

That famous speech was to be re-enacted by the BNP’s very own Enoch look-a-like, Peter Mullins from Cornwall. Peter repeated the entire speech word for word before Nick Griffin took over and gave the few selected journalists and party activists a speech of his own. Here in part-occupied Birmingham we are probably more acutely aware of what is going to happen in many parts of this country in the coming years and Nick was spot on with his bleak outlook of burnt-out homes and inter-ethnic violence.

This highly charged and emotive setting had also been chosen by witch-finder general Trevor Phillips in order to debunk everything that Enoch had said in 1968. However, he had not reckoned with the BNP having made an identical booking and thus Nick, Peter and co stole the show. This, combined with the fact that the hosts were happy to have us and everything went unhindered, has had some fascist journalists climbing the walls this week.

Chief among them is the cringe-worthy Adrian Goldberg who it must be said is not the biggest fan of free-thinking, let alone expression. He has written an article on his website every day this week, all of which dedicated to the BNP presence at the Burlington on Sunday. Each article has revealed a more desperate Gonzberg as he struggles to come to terms with what he sees as such an outrage!

If he had his way we would all be locked up and the key thrown away, or worse. People like Gonzberg just don’t appreciate what our forefathers fought for in the last century, but then again, Hitler was also a horrible little man.

Birmingham Patriot would like to congratulate West Midlands Police in their swift announcement that yesterday's derby-day death involved only Aston Villa supporters and was therefore NOT the result of aggression by away fans.

Detective Chief Inspector Ron Winch told the Birmingham Mail: "This was a terrible, terrible tragic waste of life. The investigation is still in its early stages and is ongoing, but from our inquiries this is not the direct result of football rivalries. We don’t believe it is to do with football hatred. We are clearly investigating a very serious incident and would appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward."

A police spokesman added: "The 26-year-old who died following the match was a Villa fan. The 20-year-old male driver allegedly involved in the collision is currently in custody. We can confirm he is also a Villa fan. The motive for this incident is unclear at this stage."

Suffice to say that this unfortunate incident has not doused the banter that is currently plaguing workplaces across the city.

RIVERS OF BLOOD: 40

40 years ago today in a hotel in New Street a Brummie MP stood up and addressed an audience of Conservative colleagues. The member for Wolverhampton South-West was born in Stechford on 16th June 1912 and was raised there before the family moved to Kings Norton six years later. On this day all those years ago he gave one of the most famous speeches ever to have been heard on these islands. Many have tried to mock him since, but Brigadier/Professor/Minister of Health the Rt. Hon. John Enoch Powell MBE was not stupid.

This is what he had to say that day in his native city …

The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils. In seeking to do so, it encounters obstacles which are deeply rooted in human nature.

One is that by the very order of things such evils are not demonstrable until they have occurred: at each stage in their onset there is room for doubt and for dispute whether they be real or imaginary. By the same token, they attract little attention in comparison with current troubles, which are both indisputable and pressing: whence the besetting temptation of all politics to concern itself with the immediate present at the expense of the future.

Above all, people are disposed to mistake predicting troubles for causing troubles and even for desiring troubles: “If only, they love to think, if only people wouldn't talk about it, it probably wouldn't happen.”

Perhaps this habit goes back to the primitive belief that the word and the thing, the name and the object, are identical.

At all events, the discussion of future grave but, with effort now, avoidable evils is the most unpopular and at the same time the most necessary occupation for the politician. Those who knowingly shirk it deserve, and not infrequently receive, the curses of those who come after.

A week or two ago I fell into conversation with a constituent, a middle-aged, quite ordinary working man employed in one of our nationalised industries. After a sentence or two about the weather, he suddenly said: “If I had the money to go, I wouldn't stay in this country.” I made some deprecatory reply to the effect that even this government wouldn't last for ever; but he took no notice, and continued: “I have three children, all of them been through grammar school and two of them married now, with family. I shan't be satisfied till I have seen them all settled overseas. In this country in 15 or 20 years' time the black man will have the whip hand over the white man.”

I can already hear the chorus of execration. How dare I say such a horrible thing? How dare I stir up trouble and inflame feelings by repeating such a conversation?
The answer is that I do not have the right not to do so. Here is a decent, ordinary fellow Englishman, who in broad daylight in my own town says to me, his Member of Parliament, that his country will not be worth living in for his children.

I simply do not have the right to shrug my shoulders and think about something else. What he is saying, thousands and hundreds of thousands are saying and thinking - not throughout Great Britain, perhaps, but in the areas that are already undergoing the total transformation to which there is no parallel in a thousand years of English history.

In 15 or 20 years, on present trends, there will be in this country three and a half million Commonwealth immigrants and their descendants. That is not my figure. That is the official figure given to parliament by the spokesman of the Registrar General's Office.

There is no comparable official figure for the year 2000, but it must be in the region of five to seven million, approximately one-tenth of the whole population, and approaching that of Greater London. Of course, it will not be evenly distributed from Margate to Aberystwyth and from Penzance to Aberdeen. Whole areas, towns and parts of towns across England will be occupied by sections of the immigrant and immigrant-descended population.

As time goes on, the proportion of this total who are immigrant descendants, those born in England, who arrived here by exactly the same route as the rest of us, will rapidly increase. Already by 1985 the native-born would constitute the majority. It is this fact which creates the extreme urgency of action now, of just that kind of action which is hardest for politicians to take, action where the difficulties lie in the present but the evils to be prevented or minimised lie several parliaments ahead.

The natural and rational first question with a nation confronted by such a prospect is to ask: “How can its dimensions be reduced?” Granted it be not wholly preventable, can it be limited, bearing in mind that numbers are of the essence: the significance and consequences of an alien element introduced into a country or population are profoundly different according to whether that element is 1 per cent or 10 per cent.

The answers to the simple and rational question are equally simple and rational: by stopping, or virtually stopping, further inflow, and by promoting the maximum outflow. Both answers are part of the official policy of the Conservative Party.

It almost passes belief that at this moment 20 or 30 additional immigrant children are arriving from overseas in Wolverhampton alone every week - and that means 15 or 20 additional families a decade or two hence. Those whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad. We must be mad, literally mad, as a nation to be permitting the annual inflow of some 50,000 dependants, who are for the most part the material of the future growth of the immigrant-descended population. It is like watching a nation busily engaged in heaping up its own funeral pyre. So insane are we that we actually permit unmarried persons to immigrate for the purpose of founding a family with spouses and fiancés whom they have never seen.

Let no one suppose that the flow of dependants will automatically tail off. On the contrary, even at the present admission rate of only 5,000 a year by voucher, there is sufficient for a further 25,000 dependants per annum ad infinitum, without taking into account the huge reservoir of existing relations in this country - and I am making no allowance at all for fraudulent entry. In these circumstances nothing will suffice but that the total inflow for settlement should be reduced at once to negligible proportions, and that the necessary legislative and administrative measures be taken without delay.

I stress the words "for settlement." This has nothing to do with the entry of Commonwealth citizens, any more than of aliens, into this country, for the purposes of study or of improving their qualifications, like (for instance) the Commonwealth doctors who, to the advantage of their own countries, have enabled our hospital service to be expanded faster than would otherwise have been possible. They are not, and never have been, immigrants.

I turn to re-emigration. If all immigration ended tomorrow, the rate of growth of the immigrant and immigrant-descended population would be substantially reduced, but the prospective size of this element in the population would still leave the basic character of the national danger unaffected. This can only be tackled while a considerable proportion of the total still comprises persons who entered this country during the last ten years or so.

Hence the urgency of implementing now the second element of the Conservative Party's policy: the encouragement of re-emigration.

Nobody can make an estimate of the numbers which, with generous assistance, would choose either to return to their countries of origin or to go to other countries anxious to receive the manpower and the skills they represent.

Nobody knows, because no such policy has yet been attempted. I can only say that, even at present, immigrants in my own constituency from time to time come to me, asking if I can find them assistance to return home. If such a policy were adopted and pursued with the determination which the gravity of the alternative justifies, the resultant outflow could appreciably alter the prospects.

The third element of the Conservative Party's policy is that all who are in this country as citizens should be equal before the law and that there shall be no discrimination or difference made between them by public authority. As Mr Heath has put it we will have no ‘first-class citizens’ and ‘second-class citizens.’ This does not mean that the immigrant and his descendent should be elevated into a privileged or special class or that the citizen should be denied his right to discriminate in the management of his own affairs between one fellow-citizen and another or that he should be subjected to imposition as to his reasons and motive for behaving in one lawful manner rather than another.

There could be no grosser misconception of the realities than is entertained by those who vociferously demand legislation as they call it "against discrimination", whether they be leader-writers of the same kidney and sometimes on the same newspapers which year after year in the 1930s tried to blind this country to the rising peril which confronted it, or archbishops who live in palaces, faring delicately with the bedclothes pulled right up over their heads. They have got it exactly and diametrically wrong.

The discrimination and the deprivation, the sense of alarm and of resentment, lies not with the immigrant population but with those among whom they have come and are still coming.

This is why to enact legislation of the kind before parliament at this moment is to risk throwing a match on to gunpowder. The kindest thing that can be said about those who propose and support it is that they know not what they do.

Nothing is more misleading than comparison between the Commonwealth immigrant in Britain and the American Negro. The Negro population of the United States, which was already in existence before the United States became a nation, started literally as slaves and were later given the franchise and other rights of citizenship, to the exercise of which they have only gradually and still incompletely come. The Commonwealth immigrant came to Britain as a full citizen, to a country which knew no discrimination between one citizen and another, and he entered instantly into the possession of the rights of every citizen, from the vote to free treatment under the National Health Service.

Whatever drawbacks attended the immigrants arose not from the law or from public policy or from administration, but from those personal circumstances and accidents which cause, and always will cause, the fortunes and experience of one man to be different from another's.

But while, to the immigrant, entry to this country was admission to privileges and opportunities eagerly sought, the impact upon the existing population was very different. For reasons which they could not comprehend, and in pursuance of a decision by default, on which they were never consulted, they found themselves made strangers in their own country.

They found their wives unable to obtain hospital beds in childbirth, their children unable to obtain school places, their homes and neighbourhoods changed beyond recognition, their plans and prospects for the future defeated; at work they found that employers hesitated to apply to the immigrant worker the standards of discipline and competence required of the native-born worker; they began to hear, as time went by, more and more voices which told them that they were now the unwanted. They now learn that a one-way privilege is to be established by act of parliament; a law which cannot, and is not intended to, operate to protect them or redress their grievances is to be enacted to give the stranger, the disgruntled and the agent-provocateur the power to pillory them for their private actions.

In the hundreds upon hundreds of letters I received when I last spoke on this subject two or three months ago, there was one striking feature which was largely new and which I find ominous. All Members of Parliament are used to the typical anonymous correspondent; but what surprised and alarmed me was the high proportion of ordinary, decent, sensible people, writing a rational and often well-educated letter, who believed that they had to omit their address because it was dangerous to have committed themselves to paper to a Member of Parliament agreeing with the views I had expressed, and that they would risk penalties or reprisals if they were known to have done so. The sense of being a persecuted minority which is growing among ordinary English people in the areas of the country which are affected is something that those without direct experience can hardly imagine.

I am going to allow just one of those hundreds of people to speak for me:
“Eight years ago in a respectable street in Wolverhampton a house was sold to a Negro. Now only one white (a woman old-age pensioner) lives there. This is her story. She lost her husband and both her sons in the war. So she turned her seven-roomed house, her only asset, into a boarding house. She worked hard and did well, paid off her mortgage and began to put something by for her old age. Then the immigrants moved in. With growing fear, she saw one house after another taken over. The quiet street became a place of noise and confusion. Regretfully, her white tenants moved out.”

“The day after the last one left, she was awakened at 7am by two Negroes who wanted to use her 'phone to contact their employer. When she refused, as she would have refused any stranger at such an hour, she was abused and feared she would have been attacked but for the chain on her door. Immigrant families have tried to rent rooms in her house, but she always refused. Her little store of money went, and after paying rates, she has less than £2 per week. She went to apply for a rate reduction and was seen by a young girl, who on hearing she had a seven-roomed house, suggested she should let part of it. When she said the only people she could get were Negroes, the girl said, “Racial prejudice won't get you anywhere in this country.” So she went home.

“The telephone is her lifeline. Her family pay the bill, and help her out as best they can. Immigrants have offered to buy her house - at a price which the prospective landlord would be able to recover from his tenants in weeks, or at most a few months. She is becoming afraid to go out. Windows are broken. She finds excreta pushed through her letter box. When she goes to the shops, she is followed by children, charming, wide-grinning piccaninnies. They cannot speak English, but one word they know. ‘Racialist’, they chant. When the new Race Relations Bill is passed, this woman is convinced she will go to prison. And is she so wrong? I begin to wonder.”

The other dangerous delusion from which those who are wilfully or otherwise blind to realities suffer, is summed up in the word ‘integration’. To be integrated into a population means to become for all practical purposes indistinguishable from its other members.

Now, at all times, where there are marked physical differences, especially of colour, integration is difficult though, over a period, not impossible. There are among the Commonwealth immigrants who have come to live here in the last fifteen years or so, many thousands whose wish and purpose is to be integrated and whose every thought and endeavour is bent in that direction.

But to imagine that such a thing enters the heads of a great and growing majority of immigrants and their descendants is a ludicrous misconception, and a dangerous one.

We are on the verge here of a change. Hitherto it has been force of circumstance and of background which has rendered the very idea of integration inaccessible to the greater part of the immigrant population - that they never conceived or intended such a thing, and that their numbers and physical concentration meant the pressures towards integration which normally bear upon any small minority did not operate.

Now we are seeing the growth of positive forces acting against integration, of vested interests in the preservation and sharpening of racial and religious differences, with a view to the exercise of actual domination, first over fellow-immigrants and then over the rest of the population. The cloud no bigger than a man's hand, that can so rapidly overcast the sky, has been visible recently in Wolverhampton and has shown signs of spreading quickly. The words I am about to use, verbatim as they appeared in the local press on 17 February, are not mine, but those of a Labour Member of Parliament who is a minister in the present government:

The Sikh community's campaign to maintain customs inappropriate in Britain is much to be regretted. Working in Britain, particularly in the public services, they should be prepared to accept the terms and conditions of their employment. To claim special communal rights (or should one say rites?) leads to a dangerous fragmentation within society. This communalism is a canker; whether practised by one colour or another it is to be strongly condemned.

All credit to John Stonehouse for having had the insight to perceive that, and the courage to say it.

For these dangerous and divisive elements the legislation proposed in the Race Relations Bill is the very pabulum they need to flourish. Here is the means of showing that the immigrant communities can organise to consolidate their members, to agitate and campaign against their fellow citizens, and to overawe and dominate the rest with the legal weapons which the ignorant and the ill-informed have provided. As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding; like the Roman, I seem to see ‘the River Tiber foaming with much blood.’

That tragic and intractable phenomenon which we watch with horror on the other side of the Atlantic but which there is interwoven with the history and existence of the States itself, is coming upon us here by our own volition and our own neglect. Indeed, it has all but come. In numerical terms, it will be of American proportions long before the end of the century.

Only resolute and urgent action will avert it even now. Whether there will be the public will to demand and obtain that action, I do not know. All I know is that to see, and not to speak, would be the great betrayal.

GETTING OUR TEETH INTO EASTERN EUROPE

While thousands of eastern Europeans have been settling here and forcing down our own workers wages, it seems that the hard-done by Brummie has been taking a flight in the opposite direction in order to make ends meet. Yes, such is the state of affairs in broken Britain that we are told that around 140 Brummies are flying out to eastern Europe each month in order to … get their teeth done!

This growing phenomenon was revealed in a survey conducted by the ‘medical tourism’ search engine RevaHealth. It claimed that Birmingham was one of the top six places in the UK where local people had enquired about going abroad for dental treatment with Hungary being the most popular destination. Around 45,000 people from the UK are reported to have travelle overseas last year in order to seek dental treatment compared with 30,000 the previous year.

The primary motivation in the large majority of cases is financial, perhaps not surprising given that dental treatment abroad can be up to half the cost it is here. One dentist’s clinic in Budapest claimed that up to 95 per cent of its patients were British and around 200 of them were being treated there each month.

However, in addition to the financial factor it has also been said that Brummies are experiencing difficulty in obtaining an NHS dentist. Perhaps there should be a recruitment drive among the Poles, Hungarians and Latvians living here to take up dentistry and fill the gaps!

HANDSWORTH AND LOZELLS ‘TOO DANGEROUS’

Of course there are parts of any major city that are regarded with general trepidation by the city’s residents. Such a reputation is not built on Scotch mist and naturally a city the size of Brum has numerous areas that could be deemed ‘unsavoury’. Handsworth is a place that not only has a bad reputation at local level, but is renowned nationally, in particular for the riots of 1981, 1985 and 2005. Neighbouring Lozells has also been at the centre of wide scale disorder and both areas are spurned in equal measures.

Recently it was announced that a so-called ‘community court’ would be established in the area to deal with local hoodlums and dealers, but the plan has been scrapped because Handsworth and Lozells are deemed ‘too dangerous’. Instead the initiative is being co-ordinated from the Victoria Law Courts in the city centre. A spokeswoman for Community Justice Birmingham (CJB) said: “We wanted to build a facility in the community itself, but we concluded the security risk was too high and it did not demonstrate value for money.”

The Labour MP for Perry Barr, which includes Handsworth and Lozells, reacted angrily to the news. Khalid Mahmood told reporters: “I am absolutely appalled to hear that the reason a court was not set up in Lozells was because it was thought to be too dangerous. It is disgusting that this area of Birmingham is still considered to be full of lawlessness when in fact crime rates are falling. This is the sort of thing that gives Handsworth and Lozells a bad name. Everybody involved with the project was in agreement that for these courts to work they had to be in the heart of the community. I will certainly be challenging this decision now.”

If Mahmood is to get his way the bill could be somewhat expensive according to the CJB. They estimate that had the scheme gone ahead as originally planned the security aspects would have driven the cost up to £5million. Hence they stated that the scheme does not ‘demonstrate value for money’.

Clearly Mr Mahmood’s protestations are self-serving and he merely wants to avoid any negative publicity concerning his constituency, regardless of whether or not it is actually fair comment. As we said earlier, such a bad reputation is not built on a fictional basis and on several occasions we ourselves have had to run the gauntlet in these areas. Obviously the BNP would not consider campaigning in Lozells or Aston, that would be suicide, but we still have to collect nominations signatures and in some cases attend the count.

Last year’s count for the Perry Barr wards took place at Handsworth Leisure Centre and several Asians were overheard discussing how they would ambush the BNP members as they were leaving. The BNP contingent had to request police assistance in order to guarantee safe passage, a year after having to do the same for the Hodge Hill/Shard End counts that were taking place in Saltley. On that occasion there were huge numbers of Asians in the street outside, although this was not half as threatening as the controversial 2004 count when it was feared that a similar mob would storm the NIA after not getting the results they had wanted.

The reality in some parts of Brum just doesn’t live up to the rose-tinted views of certain politicians!

KILLED FOR DARING TO CONVERT?

Four people killed in an Islamist attack on an English language school in Somalia on Sunday included two Birmingham residents. Daud Hassan Ali, 64, and Rehana Ahmed, 32, are both thought to have been of Somali origin and were shot dead along with two Kenyans when Islamist fighters took control of the town of Beledweyne. The Hakab Private English School had only opened one month earlier and all those killed were believed to have been teaching there.

Mr Ali’s widow believes he was singled out because he had converted from Islam to Christianity. Margaret Ali, also 64, told reporters from the family home in Kings Heath that she was ‘certain he was killed because he was born a Muslim but converted to Christianity’. Her husband had left Somalia in 1967 to become a Christian missionary, but later settled in Kings Heath in 1990 and worked for the council as an educational psychologist until his retirement in 2004. The couple recently established a charity after learning that there were up to 20,000 children in central Somalia without education.

Mrs Ali summed up the situation: “He was a teacher, he never made any attempt to convert anyone to Christianity, and only practised his faith in private. Most people didn't give tuppence about him being an apostate, but some Muslims interpret the Koran differently. I just hope they died quickly and didn't suffer too much. But I hear their bodies are riddled with bullet holes.”

Somalia has been troubled by conflict for many years, but more recently there has been an increase in Islamist violence. If the murder of Daud Hassan Ali was indeed simply due to his conversion to Christianity it mirrors the high-profile case of Ayaan Hirsi Ali (no relation). She is also of Somali origin, but currently lives in hiding in the Netherlands after publicly renouncing her faith. It was she who wrote the script for the film ‘Submission’ by Theo van Gogh that led to his murder by an Islamic fanatic.

As well as his British-born wife Margaret, Daud Hassan Ali leaves behind two sons, one of whom is a civil servant in London and the other is based in Quinton. Hilary Gita-Chiles, treasurer of the charity set up by the couple, told Radio WM: “The work that Daud had done in the town was quite amazing. His dream had been to repay his country by setting up a library and indeed a school there and that is what he had done.”

It is sad to see that yet again, as in Iraq and elsewhere, those that go to Muslim countries in order to help the afflicted become victims themselves.

Such is the vicious nature of the beast.

ALUM ROCK SHARIA CONFERENCE CANCELLED

The above poster was sent in to the BNP enquiry team and was then forwarded to South Birmingham Organiser Mike Bell. Thankfully this offensive event was cancelled at the last minute, presumably because the venue had not been informed of its true nature. The slogan 'Kufr Laws to be Extinct' can easily be translated as 'Kufr to be Extinct', the word Kufr meaning non-believer. This genocidal message should have no place on British streets, but we simply cannot expect any action from West Midlands Police due to the pro-fanatic hierarchy at Lloyd House. The silence from the local media has also been deafening.

Just what will it take for the masses to wake up to the dire threat in our midst ...

BRITAIN IS A (SICK) JOKE

The news that we have two known terrorists on British soil, but cannot deport them back to Libya confirms only one thing – that this country is now a complete joke. One of the illegal immigrants was described in court as a ‘real and direct threat to the national security of the UK’ and ‘a global jihadist with links to the Taliban and al Qaeda’. The second Libyan was described as a ‘clear danger to national security’ and ‘an Islamic extremist who has engaged actively and as a senior member with a terrorist group’.

So what did the court decide? It refused to deport either of them and freed them on bail. Is it not shocking that such a thing could happen? Not really, because this is sick joke Britain after-all.

During court proceedings it emerged that a Birmingham A-Z road atlas was found in a parked car outside one of the men’s addresses. Of course that’s nothing to be particularly alarmed about in itself, except that all the footpaths underneath the airport’s flight-path were marked. The court was told that these may ‘have a wholly innocent explanation’. ‘Maybe’ is not good enough when people’s lives are at stake. Relatives of one of the two men have already been responsible for the deaths of an astonishing 237 innocent people. His brother-in-law was thought to have been the mastermind behind the Madrid train bombings, while another brother-in-law is serving time in Morocco for his part in the Casablanca bombings. The Madrid plotter took another life, that of a policeman, when he blew himself up to evade capture.

It could be that the two Libyan men were planning a Mombasa-style attack in which a passenger jet flying in or out of Birmingham Airport would be targeted with a surface-to-air missile. Such an attack woiuld be impossible to stop as there are countless locations in the surrounding area from which it could be mounted very easily. The only difficulty would be in obtaining the parts required to build a rocket launcher.

The Home Office alleged in court that one of the men is a member of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group whose chief aim is to replace the Gadaffi regime with an Islamist one. The terror outfit is banned in the UK, but this didn’t sway the court either. The other man is believed to have been involved with a terrorist group based in Italy.

The Home Office had opposed bail in both cases because they feared the men would abscond if released. Although they are both subject to control orders it is not exactly clear how the men will be physically restrained from escaping into the general populace and, lo and behold, committing mass murder.

Be that on the heads of those who let them go in the first place.

AIN’T THAT A SHAME

Fresh from whingeing about restrictions on non-EU workers coming to the UK, balti-house owners are now complaining about immigration raids on their businesses. They are not happy about the timing of such raids because they tend to occur - wait for it - while the restaurants are open!

However, this commonsense approach by border police is apparently having an adverse effect on custom and during busy periods a lot of white folk are being turfed out onto the streets after having their meals rudely interrupted. Faizur Choudhury runs the Purple Rooms curry house in Hall Green and he has been speaking to the Birmingham Mail about the inconvenience: “I don't understand why the immigration service cannot come on a weekday and speak to managers and owners. It shouldn't happen like this but I know this has happened a couple of times in Birmingham restaurants. It can be very difficult to employ the right people as some will offer up a false name.”

The Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) is lobbying MPs to get the nightly raids halted and their cause has found favour in one MP – Labour’s Derek Wyatt. The member for Sittingbourne and Sheppy raised the issue during PMQ’s last week, denouncing the UK Border Agency strategy: “They are closing the restaurants and clearing the customers out who leave without paying for anything. The restaurant owners lose their revenue for Friday and Saturday nights and are not allowed to telephone a solicitor or their MP.”

Isn’t it a shame?

The BCA are organising a demonstration later this month to protest about both the immigration raids and the restrictions on non-EU workers. Here is what they are demanding in order to overcome the two obstacles:

· The immediate halt to ALL raids on Bangladeshi establishments by immigration police
· Special treatment to allow Bangladeshi restaurants to continue employing new staff from south Asia, contrary to immigration laws

Not much then!

The Border Agency have hit back at the campaign by merely pointing out the glaringly obvious: “If we receive intelligence that a business is employing illegal workers, we will act on it. To arrest illegal workers and remove them from the country, which the overwhelming majority of the public want us to do, we need to visit businesses when the individuals we are targeting are at work.”

So there we have it. It will continue to be a case of “Sorry all you white folks, but you are going to have to leave while we detain these illegal immigrants!”

Ain’t that a shame? No, it isn’t.

WHAT HOPE IS THERE?

The cover of yesterday’s Birmingham Mail was dedicated to the appalling attack on a 47-year-old woman in the centre of Weoley Castle. It is sad to say that this sort of thing happens all the time in modern Britain and some recent high-profile cases have shown how fatal the consequences can be when members of the public take on the youth gangs. However, that doesn’t detract from the shocking nature of the incident on Weoley Castle Square, in particular the fact that the entire gang consisted of teenage girls.

Wendy Clarke was leaving work at around 8pm on Friday night when she saw the gang setting about an elderly man. She intervened and told the girls to stop, but they responded by attacking her. Mrs Clarke suffered multiple injuries during the vicious assault and her head was so swollen that doctors couldn’t tell whether or not her nose had been broken. Mrs Clarke lives in Selly Oak with her partner David and has two children, including a 15-year-old daughter. Here she describes exactly what happened last Friday: “I did what I thought was the right thing and told them to back off and leave him alone. But one of them grabbed my hair and pulled me downwards and punched me in the face, while two others jumped on my back and dragged me to the ground. At least three of them were jumping and stamping on my head as I lay on the floor, and I was aware of the others running towards me, to join in. They had definitely been drinking because they nearly all had bottles in their hand and they were screaming and behaving like drunks.”

Despite the brutality shown towards Mrs Clarke she vowed to do the same again if the situation arose. It’s a shame that such an admirable woman cannot rely on West Midlands Police to bring the culprits to justice for what they did. Mrs Clarke’s attackers dragged her battered body out into the road and probably would have killed her had a car not stopped and the occupants frightened the girls off. Yet West Midlands Police have merely bailed the ten suspects on ‘suspicion of robbery’ (Mrs Clarke’s handbag was stolen during the attack).

They should be charged with attempted murder, no less.

Police should also investigate how the thugs obtained their booze and if any shop-keeper is found to have sold it directly to them, charges should also be brought against the individual(s) concerned.

Thankfully, Mrs Clarke was released from hospital yesterday and she just about sums up the whole sorry episode in her interview with the Mail: “If they can pick on vulnerable people like a frail old man, what hope is there?”

Indeed.

POLICE COMPLICIT IN SUBJUGATION

Banaz Mahmod was just 20 when she was raped, strangled and dismembered by members of her own family. The murder was sanctioned by a sharia court because she wanted out of her abusive arranged marriage and in the process had fell in love with another man. This didn’t happen in Pakistan, this was Britain in 2006.

What makes this case so much worse is the fact that it could have been avoided. In the months leading up to her disappearance Banaz contacted the police FOUR times regarding threats and violence against her. She had even given them the names and addresses of those responsible, but the police branded her a ‘fantasist’ and even threatened to charge her with criminal damage after she broke through a window to escape what is now known to have been certain death. That first attempt on her life took place on New Year’s Eve in 2005 when she was lured to a relative’s home by her father.

With the Metropolitan Police having failed her so disparagingly it was now open season and she vanished three weeks later. In April 2006 officers from West Midlands Police dug up a suitcase that had been buried in a garden in Handsworth. The remains of Banaz Mahmod were found inside.

The complete and utter betrayal of this poor young woman was criticised this week following an investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC). The IPCC report recommends that seven officers (four from the Met and three from West Midlands Police) receive written warnings for their part in the tragedy. Two officers from the Met, including an inspector, will now face a disciplinary panel over their actions (or rather lack of action) over the New Year’s Eve incident.

As a result of this investigation can we now expect the police to smash the illegal sharia courts that are operating in defiance of British law? Will members of the court that ‘convicted’ Banaz be apprehended and dealt with in the same way as her father and uncle were last year?

Of course not! The establishment is already beginning to crumble with fear at the fifth column it has imported to these shores. Anyone else would have got a so-called ‘life sentence’ for such a horrific murder, but in this case the sentences ranged from just 17-23 years. It wasn’t just mere ‘incompetence’ on the part of the police that cost Banaz her life, it was a reluctance to deal with the Muslim community. Only this week it was reported that army cadets in Washwood Heath are being attacked on a regular basis by Muslim thugs, but the police refuse to get involved. This is the same police force that wanted to prosecute Channel Four for daring to broadcast a documentary exposing Islamic extremism.

The problem is not restricted to the law either. The media maintains a blackout on the murders of white youths by Muslims and we are told that the BBC is now so scared of Muslims that it would never air a comedy programme that makes fun of their faith. We are also encouraged to embrace sharia law by the most senior Anglican bishop in the country for the simple reason that it is inevitable anyway. But as we have seen with the case of Banaz Mahmod, sharia is already alive and well in Britain and its courts are allowed to operate by the British police.

Pandering to the extremists will hasten the pain and suffering for all parties concerned. Banaz Mahmod should have been safe here in 21st century Britain because she should not have been subject to arranged marriages, beatings and sexual abuse on our soil. Sadly, she won’t be the last to die in such circumstances and just think - if they can treat their own women like that, what torture is in store for our own?

On the right hand side of this blog you can see a picture taken in Washwood Heath Park back in 2002. Among the various racist and pro-Islamist slogans there was a barely visible message that read something like “RAPE ALL WHITE WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN”. A sharia court would undoubtedly condone such a policy because it can be justified directly from Koranic scripture. The subjugation of women, Muslim or otherwise, is a key element in how the faith has grown over the centuries. Only last month a community support officer with West Midlands Police appeared in court charged with rape.

MAIL BUCKS NATIONAL MEDIA CONSPIRACY

Recent media coverage surrounding the wearing of military uniform in public led to some eye-opening revelations concerning the hostile treatment meted out to some personnel by ‘members of the public’. Of course it is a disgrace that our military heroes should be abused in such a way in their own country. While we in the BNP bitterly opposed the Iraq war, no self-respecting nationalist would ever dream of abusing members of the armed forces.

However, during the course of the media coverage every media outlet without exception has maintained a conspiracy of silence as to who is responsible for hassling our lads. Of course we in the BNP had a good idea as to the culprits and as to why the media have tried to create the notion that the trouble has been simply coming from ‘members of the general public who disagree with the war’. We know that controversy over Iraq is commonplace, but most people generally accept that the fault does not lie with the troops who are, after-all, merely following orders.

No, the trouble is coming from a very specific section of society and this week one local newspaper let the cat out of the bag.

Now we are not talking about verbal insults towards injured troops at Selly Oak Hospital, but outright violence. Although it is linked to the conspirators via its owners at Trinity Mirror, the Birmingham Mail has not only reported on a campaign of violence against army cadets at the heart of Birmistan, but it has exposed the culprits too. The perpetrators are, wait for it …

… MUSLIMS!

This is why the national media would rather have its consumers believe that the abuse of military personnel on our streets is down to a few pale-faced lefties. They are desperate to keep the reality hushed up and that is exactly why they despise the BNP because we will expose it wherever and whenever we can.

While we at the Patriot are certain that the Birmingham Mail did not deliberately seek to undermine its masters’ policy, that is exactly what they have achieved by printing this story. They have confirmed what we all suspected, that Muslims are behind the wave of abuse levelled at uniformed soldiers in our towns and cities. Although they use the term ‘Asian’ to describe the assailants it is clear to everyone who reads the article what that means. For a start the lengthy campaign of intimidation and violence has been taking place against army cadets based in Washwood Heath, part of town not exactly known for large numbers of Indian or Chinese residents. Other parts of the country known for such incidents also fall within areas dominated by Muslims, notably Peterborough. Tie all these together with the verbal abuse at Selly Oak Hospital and one sees a definite pattern emerging.

Much of the Washwood Heath story is told through an interview with Sergeant Billy Mazella from the Army Cadet Force. The embattled young officer, aged 20 and with eight years under his belt, told the Mail: “The cadets and myself regularly get bricks, stones and even fireworks thrown at us as missiles. Our vehicles have been damaged and also our parade grounds at times. For around six months there was a camera on a lamppost outside the detachment facing towards a block of flats which are always the source of the trouble. But, since the camera has been removed the trouble has progressed and is now really bad.”

"We feel we are being harassed and attacked because we wear British Army uniform. Often the youths throw oral abuse at us and nearly all the time they refer to the army and that we are killing their brothers and their families overseas. We phone the local police almost every time this happens, yet nothing is done about it. We had one Asian cadet but they got to him and he left.”

The report then describes how Sgt Mazella said the offenders ‘appeared to be Asian’ and ‘aged as young as ten’. The article then concludes with a spokesman from West Midlands Police confirming that an incident that took place on February 10th was being investigated.

We won’t hold our breath on that one plod, what happened to all the other reports that Sgt Mazella claims to have filed with you?

So there we have it - British military personnel are being abused by fifth columnists in our towns and cities, nothing is done about it and the mass media conceal the truth about who is behind it. For once the Birmingham Mail have bucked the trend, but it still won’t be enough to stir the masses into caring anywhere near enough about the future of all our peoples, both in Britain and throughout Europe. For we all face a dire threat to our very existence, what happens to the Serbs today will happen to us tomorrow.

As long as our people stand by and do nothing we will all be consigned to history. It is inevitable.

HEMMING STATES THE BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS

Well, at least this time he isn’t lying!

The Lib-Dem MP for Yardley has spoken up in Parliament in support of a joint Lib/Con motion demanding changes to the postal vote system. With the local elections now in sight, John Hemming informed the Commons that electoral fraud was still alive and well in Birmingham: “In my own ward there have been ‘ghost voters’. This is something the authorities need to take seriously. It is very difficult to know how widespread the problem is. The number of fraudulent voters varies from time to time, but we cannot continue with a system which allows a coach and horses to be driven through electoral probity.” So-called ghost voters are fraudulent names that are added to the electoral roll in order to obtain postal votes.

Of course it is obvious that such things go on, the way that New Labour has altered the postal vote system encourages it. But why is the problem so endemic here in the Second City?

The first wide scale case of postal vote rigging was uncovered during the 2004 local elections in Bordesley Green and Aston. In his summing up the judge referred to a ‘banana republic’, but we would like to call it something more specific – the Islamic Republic of Birmistan.

Why? Because every case that comes to light involves Muslim candidates and/or their relatives. In January the Lib-Dems’ Mohammed Khan was charged in connection with postal vote fraud relating to the 2006 local elections. During the same month Iftikar Hussain from Small Heath was found guilty of forging postal votes on behalf of his Tory candidate cousin in Coventry during the same elections. Meanwhile, the trial of Labour’s Muhammed Afzal is seemingly never-ending and relates to all manner of electoral fraud in last year’s local elections.

Alas, our opponents may well argue that if such fraud is happening in John Hemming’s plush sounding council seat of South Yardley (the MP is also a councillor) then it is not confined to Muslims. However, if you click here you will see that the boundaries of Cllr Hemming’s ward actually stretch well into Small Heath and therefore into Muslim territory.

Perhaps this is just another reason why Hemming concocted the allegations of electoral fraud against the BNP last year. You might call it a failed (and criminal) attempt to redress the ethno-religious balance when it comes to electoral fraud in Birmistan!

‘TA TA’ TO MORE BRITISH INDUSTRY

The purchase of Jaguar and Land Rover by Indian company Tata Motors appears to have been largely welcomed, certainly if one is to believe all the hype in the local media. However, this reaction seems to have come from many wearers of the rose-tinted spectacles. While unions are celebrating the fact that Tata have pledged to invest in the plants at Solihull and Castle Vale and henceforth guarantee their future, no mention has been made of the retention of employees or exactly how long-term the ‘future’ will be.

Now you might call us cynics, but no long-term good will come from all our heads being buried the sand. The blinkered welcoming party merely takes solace in what will inevitably be a short-term venture for many of the 15,000 workers based in the UK. Only a fool would surmise that in five to ten years time there will still be anywhere near this scale of employment, the Indians long having succumbed to the lure of much cheaper labour back home.

What’s more, a gradual erosion of the UK-based workforce could accelerate much sooner if sales of Land Rover continue to fall (as they did last year), and Jaguar continues to make the year-on-year losses it has sustained since 2002. Another ominous development is the EU requirement for all Europe-based carmakers to lower their carbon emissions by 2012 or face large fines. Tata would have to invest heavily in research and development in order to meet these targets, so again the lure of the eastern market may prove too enticing.

These dangers were obviously in mind when it came to national media coverage of the sale. This was much more cautious in its approach than the hoo-haa generated by the local media. But while economic experts are voicing similar fears, individuals such as union boss Tony Woodley are cock-a-hoop: “With the commitments Tata have given to the future of Jaguar, Land Rover and the long-term supply agreements for components, especially engines from Bridgend and Dagenham, we're obviously pleased they are in the game.”

Written assurances to union leaders that jobs will be safeguarded are not contracts. How often in the past have we seen global giants go back on their ‘word’, much to the futile protestations of the unions. Has Mr Woodley not learnt from past experience - promises are not bound by law!

A KICK IN THE BALLS

The Birmingham Mail has exposed a disgraceful snub to the city’s industrial heritage by the makers of HP Sauce. Owners Heinz recently set up a website for the brand and it includes a section dedicated to the history of the sauce, entitled ‘A Saucy Story’. However, while this delves into the sauce’s origins in Nottingham, nowhere is there any reference to Aston or Birmingham. The article even refers to the year 1903 (when production began) without mentioning Brum, despite the production of HP having been here for over one hundred years!

This cold shoulder treatment is a final kick in the balls for the 125 former workers who lost their jobs when Heinz closed the Aston site last year. With production shipped off to the Netherlands we at Birmingham BNP launched a campaign to boycott HP Sauce and other Heinz products, an initiative already taken up by thousands of patriotic Britons across the country. Therefore it comes as no great surprise to note that in addition to overlooking HP’s Birmingham-based history, Heinz also failed to mention that the sauce is now produced overseas.

Such cynicism from Heinz is nothing new. The Aston closure came just months after an advertising campaign in which HP Sauce was marketed under the slogan ‘Proper British’.

A spokeswoman from Heinz told the Mail: “The site has never talked about where the sauce is made, it never previously talked about Birmingham so nothing has changed. In the same way, the beans website doesn't talk about where they are made. It is something that just doesn't happen.”

So there we have it. It’s perfectly acceptable for Heinz to talk about HP’s links to Nottingham, but when it comes to Brum they were merely following their ‘Just don’t mention Birmingham’ policy.

The next few posts formed part of Iraq Week, a series of articles published to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. Please bear in mind that some of the images show the aftermath of violence and are therefore not pleasant.

FALLUJAH

Over the course of the last five years there have been many battles waged across Iraq, the large majority of them involving US forces. The year of 2004 saw some of the most widespread and intensive fighting since the occupation began, but despite the successes of American firepower it was just another false dawn.

The previous year had also ended optimistically following the capture of Saddam Hussein and the killing of his two sons. The Americans were in no doubt at that time that the resistance would subsequently diminish, particularly as it had been assumed that Uday and Qusay Hussein had been orchestrating much of it. However, the initial months of 2004 were merely the calm before the storm.

An incident on March 31st of that year sparked a series of events that led to the bloodiest battle of the war to date. The incident involved an ambush of a convoy containing four US military contractors (also known as mercenaries). The four men were dragged from their vehicles, set on fire and their bodies hung from a bridge over the Euphrates, an act cheered on by a huge crowd of local people. Even the US media, always adept at covering up the reality of what was going on in Iraq, struggled to contain itself over the atrocity. In response the US military decided that the city of Fallujah had to be ‘pacified’.

Of course this is all well documented, but just why did the residents of Fallujah hate the Americans so much? The origins for this go right back to the beginning of the occupation, to 28th April 2003 to be precise.

US forces had entered the city five days earlier and had met no resistance, the Iraqi Army having abandoned their posts and melted away. However, the local population soon took issue with US troops occupying a school building and on the 28th several hundred protesters staged a demonstration outside the school. What happened next is disputed by both sides, but 17 of the protesters were apparently shot dead by US soldiers. Two days later another three protesters were shot dead by US troops outside the mayor’s office.

Although initially a larger deployment of troops was made following these incidents, during the summer of 2003 the US military pulled out of the city altogether. This was a huge mistake.

The resentment of their presence had clearly grown among the population and it wasn’t long before other combatants came to take the place of the Americans and ferment the tension still further. These were of course the Iraqi insurgents and foreign fighters, including what would later become known as al-Qaeda in Iraq. Fallujah basically became a base for the insurgents, both from which to launch their military operations and from which to conduct the propaganda war, notably the infamous beheadings of Western captives.

However, the beheadings were yet to come and in any case they took place in darkened rooms in unknown locations, whereas the slaughter of the four Americans in Fallujah in March 2004 was a very public affair and infuriated public opinion back home. Within five days of the killings the US military had launched Operation Vigilant Resolve to retake control of the city.

From the onset it was tough for the Americans as the city had become well defended. Around 2,000 US troops surrounded the city and fought for six days in what became known as the First Battle of Fallujah. They were not helped by the absence of their supposed allies, the newly formed Iraqi National Guard. They had deserted en masse immediately prior to the assault.

The US forces took little ground during the battle and declared a ceasefire, after which they withdrew altogether. Around 30 Americans were killed compared to around 300 insurgents. Crucially, around the same number of civilians were killed and US tactics were heavily criticised.

Meanwhile, events across the rest of Iraq had spiralled to unprecedented levels of violence while the Americans had focused their attention on Fallujah. For the first and only time during the last five years the nation appeared united, both Shia and Sunni, but against the occupation. For the first time there was a major uprising in the south, led by the Mahdi Army of Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr. In addition, Sunni insurgents based further north took advantage of the US assault on Fallujah and also seized control of several towns, notably Ramadi and Samarra.

The strategic error that was made when the US military abandoned Fallujah at the beginning of the occupation was coming back to haunt the Americans. The ‘victory’ announcement by President Bush on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln a year earlier now looked to have been somewhat premature. ‘Major combat operations’ had certainly not ended.

The violence escalated to such an intensity that seven months after their latest retreat from Fallujah the Americans decided that the city could not be left to the insurgents any longer. This time they were not going to go away, the Second Battle of Fallujah was going to end in a US victory, no matter what. Four times the number of US troops were deployed this time round.

Meanwhile, Operation Phantom Fury aka the Second Battle of Fallujah commenced on November 7th. The assault had been long awaited and the insurgents had entrenched themselves still further. The Americans had dropped leaflets prior to the assault warning residents to leave the city and by the time the fighting started not many remained. However, the use of white phosphorus, a chemical agent, on civilian areas during the battle was the cause of much controversy. After-all, the US government had played heavily on Saddam’s use of chemical weapons on Kurd civilians as a case for the war.

Adding to the controversy was the wholesale destruction of parts of the city with up to 10,000 buildings destroyed and two thirds of buildings overall sustaining some damage. The battle was the most fierce urban combat experienced by US forces since the Vietnam War and also inflicted the biggest US losses of the Iraq War. During the ten days of the main stage of the battle they sustained 54 losses, although several dozen more would perish in skirmishes that continued into December.

British troops also played their part, despite massive controversy back home. In order to prevent the loss of surrounding towns to insurgents fleeing the main battle, as had happened first time round, the US military requested British troops for a rearguard action. The Black Watch were sent north from Basra to conduct these operations. Despite dire predictions of massive British casualties during this period, the regiment sustained just four losses as a result of hostile fire.

The destruction of much of Fallujah created a huge number of refugees, but the main objective of retaking the city and dismantling it as an insurgent base basically successful, no matter what the collateral had been. This vicious, unforgiving and wholely illegal action to retake the city remains the most controversial episode of the conflict and what's more, it did not even serve as a major defeat for the Sunni insurgency. Many of Fallujah's defenders from the first battle fled the city prior to the engagement and took their fight elsewhere in Iraq. Inevitably the following year in Iraq proved to be just as bloody as 2004 had been.

However, in late 2004 the Americans were only concerned with their objective in pacifying the rebel city of Fallujah and this time they would not be leaving.

For once, it seems, the Americans had learned from their mistake. It remains to be seen whether they will learn from their overall mistake – that of invading Iraq in the first place.

THEIR BLOOD ALSO ON YOUR HANDS

When Bush and Blair embarked on their Iraq adventure in 2003 the initial invasion appeared to go well, but it soon became apparent that there was no plan for what to do after the troops were in place. This led to the chaos that continues to this day.

More than 4,000 coalition troops have perished. Four US soldiers are unaccounted for, classified as missing or captured. More than 1,000 contractors/mercenaries have been killed, a total of 17 currently unaccounted for, five of which are British. More than 20,000 Iraqi police/military have been killed.

However, the number of civilians killed is not known, as one US general once famously said: "We don't do body counts."

It doesn't matter whether the deaths were caused by insurgent bombs, sectarian death squads or local militia because all such deaths would have been avoided if the Anglo-American act of aggression had never occurred in the first place. Bush and Blair - their blood on you hands ...

Tony Blair, David Cameron and Gordon Brown all voted for the war in Iraq. From the first murmurs of conflict the British National Party opposed the invasion of Iraq. Unlike the Liberal Democrats, the BNP opposed it because it was not in Britain’s interest. We were not just merely concerned with the loss of innocent Iraqi life, although this was to be just as regrettable as any other. Iraq had not attacked Britain or the West, nor had it trained, funded or supported in any way terrorist attacks on Western targets. Al-Qaeda was not present in Iraq (as it is now) and weapons of mass destruction were like Scotch mist. There was no justification for British involvement in what was an act of pure American aggression.

Put quite simply, the BNP opposed the war because not one drop of British blood should ever have been spilt in America’s pursuit of oil. While the BNP remains resolutely opposed to the war it doesn’t mean we do not support our troops on a man to man basis. Our attitude towards our armed forces is nothing like that of reprehensible leftist groups such as Respect, whose members and supporters have turned their own opposition against the war into hatred and vilification of our brave fighting men. Obviously such behaviour is abhorrent and merely exposes them for the hate-filled morons they are. The BNP has never transformed its opposition to the war into anything but party policy.

All deaths as a consequence of the aggression have been regrettable, particularly the huge loss of civilian life, but also the lads sent there to do the dirty work of their relative governments. At some point in the next week or so some poor young unfortunate American will become known as the 4,000th US fatality.

Thankfully our lads have been stationed in the much less fractious south and hence British losses have been restricted by comparison. And yet, how sad is it that now, five years on, British troops remain in Iraq and have lost 175 of their number? And let us not forget the several thousand British military personnel who have suffered either directly or indirectly as a result of the ongoing violence. Thankfully, the overwhelming majority of these have been minor injuries, but in 212 cases the individual has been classed as seriously injured or very seriously injured. Let us also remember the illnesses that are not classified by the MoD, those of the mind. This trauma can follow a man around for the rest of his life, another unfortunate consequence of war.

Thankfully, these days the soldiers are not shot by their own side for their mental suffering, as they were in conflicts of the early 20th century. Having said that they are still regarded as pariahs by the authorities, but this seems to be the customary status of any soldier who has the misfortune of leaving the armed forces due to ill health or injury. In fact the disregard shown to our troops begins the day they land back on home soil.

The shoddy treatment afforded these brave men and women by the very authorities who sent them out to risk their lives thousands of miles away is a great betrayal. The BNP is extremely concerned about this and just two weeks ago a social event was held in Northfield purely to raise funds to look after our troops in nearby Selly Oak Hospital. Yes, we know it is an absolute disgrace that our soldiers are dumped there and left to rot in the very combat fatigues they were shot or blown up in. Yes, it is an absolute disgrace that until recently they were not even segregated from the general public, some of which (Muslims) have abused them while they lie in their beds forgotten and betrayed by New Labour.

If you are reading this and you have an ounce of loyalty to Britain yet vote for the Lib-Lab-Con alliance, think about the treatment of our brave young soldiers in Selly Oak Hospital when you go out and vote next time round.

We trust that you will all be pleased to hear that the charity night in Northfield raised a total of £655 towards the welfare of British troops injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. These conflicts and the deaths and injuries caused to our personnel are the total responsibility of the New Labour regime, yet it is the hardworking charities that have to pick up the pieces to make conditions better for these brave men and women. Herr Brown recently pledged an £825million aid package to India, yet he continues to starve his own military of the funds it needs to continue the wars he and his predecessor Herr Blair helped orchestrate in Iraq and Afghanistan, not least look after the boys when they are injured in due course.

The BNP cannot designate millions of pounds to ensure the wellbeing of our troops, but we are told by our designated charity that the £655 will go some way to providing them a better quality of life while they recover from their injuries. Fresh clothes, blankets, magazines and other items the rest of us take for granted will be generated by the cash provided.

However, it is now time to turn to those who have not been so ‘fortunate’ – the 175 men and women who have returned from Iraq in wooden boxes.

To list the 175 here may not be possible as we are aware that some of the details are not available due to privacy requests and the classified nature of the military operations involved. However, we issue the following list of 18 Midlanders who have died as a result of our military presence in Iraq. Regardless of whether you agree with the war, these lads will all be commemorated each and every November on an equal basis with all other British servicemen and women who have died on active service since the Act of Union created the British Army:

Corporal Stephen Allbutt, 35, Queen’s Royal Lancers. Cpl Allbutt was a married father of two from Stoke-on-Trent. He was killed in March 2003 as a result of so-called friendly fire when his tank was struck by fire from another British tank during the invasion of southern Iraq.

Trooper David Clarke, 19, Queen’s Royal Lancers. Tpr Clarke was single and from Littleworth in Staffordshire. He was killed in the same incident that led to the death of Cpl Clarke.

Corporal Russell Aston, 30, Royal Military Police. Cpl Aston was a married father of one from Swadlincote in Derbyshire. He was killed alongside five colleagues when an armed mob surrounded their patrol in the town of Majar-al-Kabir in June 2003.

Lance-Corporal Thomas Keys, 20, Royal Military Police. L-Cpl Keys was single and originally from Solihull. He was killed alongside Cpl Aston and four colleagues in the incident at Majar-al-Kabir.

Sergeant Norman Patterson, 28, Cheshire Regiment. Sgt Patterson was single and from Staffordshire. He was killed in a road traffic accident in Baghdad alongside Major James Stenner of the Welsh Guards in January 2004.

Gunner David Lawrence, 25, Royal Horse Artillery. Gnr Lawrence was single and from Walsall. He was killed alongside Corporal Marc Taylor when their convoy was ambushed south-west of Basra in September 2004.

Second Lieutenant Richard Shearer, 26, Staffordshire Regiment. 2nd Lt Shearer was from Nuneaton and was killed alongside Pte Spicer and Pte Hewett when a roadside bomb struck their Land Rover in the town of Al Amarah in July 2005.

Private Leon Spicer, 26, Staffordshire Regiment. Pte Spicer was from Tamworth and died alongside 2nd Lt Shearer and Pte Hewett.

Private Phillip Hewett, 21, Staffordshire Regiment. Pte Hewett was from Tamworth and died alongside 2nd Lt Shearer and Pte Spicer.

Sergeant John Jones, 31, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Sgt Jones was a married father of one from Castle Bromwich, the first Brummie to die in Iraq. His patrol was struck by a roadside bomb in Basra in November 2005 and he died later of injuries sustained in the blast.

Private Adam Morris, 19, Royal Anglian Regiment. Pte Morris was single and from Leicester. He was killed alongside Pte Joseva Lewaicei when a roadside bomb struck their patrol in Basra in May 2006.

Marine Jason Hylton, 33, Royal Marines. Mne Hylton was a father of two from Burton-on-Trent. He was killed alongside three colleagues when his boat patrol was attacked on the Shatt-al-Arab waterway in Basra in November 2006.

Sergeant Wayne Rees, 36, Queen’s Royal Lancers. Sgt Rees was an engaged father of two from Nottingham. He died in January 2007 as a result of a road traffic accident in southern Iraq.

Private Johnathon Wysoczan, 21, Staffordshire Regiment. Pte Wysoczan was single and from Stoke-on-Trent. He died as a result of injuries sustained by a sniper round in March 2007 as he took part in a forward patrol in Basra to investigate mortar firing positions.

Corporal Jeremy Brookes, 28, The Rifles. Cpl Brookes was single and from Birmingham. He was killed during a gun battle in Basra when his patrol was attacked in May 2007.

Senior Aircraftsman Matthew Caulwell, 22, Royal Air Force. SAC Caulwell was from Birmingham and was killed alongside SAC Dunsmore and SAC McFerran when their base in southern Iraq came under rocket fire in July 2007.

Senior Aircraftsman Christopher Dunsmore, 29, Royal Air Force. SAC Dunsmore was from Leicester and died alongside SAC Caulwell and SAC McFerran in the attack on the British base in July 2007.

Leading Aircraftman Martin Beard, 20, Royal Air Force. LAC Beard was engaged and from Nottinghamshire. He was killed when his foot patrol came under attack outside the British base in Basra in August 2007.

We will remember them.

HERO COPPER MOWN DOWN IN WALSALL

In the early hours of Tuesday morning a white van was pulled over by two police officers after it ran a red light in Bloxwich, Walsall. When PC Robin Haddock emerged from the patrol car to speak to the driver the vehicle reversed into him and then sped off. PC Haddock was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries and remains in a critical but stable condition. West Midlands Police are treating the incident as attempted murder.

The 49-year-old father of four from Sutton Coldfield had been due to attend a ceremony on Tuesday evening at the Tally Ho! police training centre in Edgbaston to receive an award for bravery. The award was for his actions in arresting a man in Brownhills last April who had thrown petrol over two colleagues and set fire to them. PC Haddock only joined West Midlands Police in summer 2006 having previously served as an electrician in the RAF.

Let’s hope that this all-round British hero makes a full recovery in due course.

Meanwhile, further south and across the city boundary into Newtown, there has been another fatal shooting. The victim was shot dead in an alleyway on Sunday night and is thought to have been in his 20s. Further details are yet to be released.

HIS LEGACY

The 21st century is not yet ten years old, but we have already witnessed several catastrophic disasters. However, whereas the Asian tsunami was an act of God, another monumental theatre of death was purely man-made.

This Thursday marks the fifth anniversary of the outbreak of the war in Iraq, a disastrous and needless adventure that to this day has no end in sight. It is not known how many have perished as a result of the ongoing violence, but estimates begin at 150,000 and go up to a staggering one million. This bloody chaos was born out of the lies told by the original architects of the war, in particular George W. Bush and Tony Blair. They and their governments told of ‘weapons of mass destruction’ and links to al-Qaeda. Both lies.

Considering that up to a million people have died on the back of those lies you would be forgiven for thinking that someone might have been brought to justice for the deception and the ensuing carnage. Yet Bush still resides in the White House and Blair is an envoy to (of all places) the Middle East. Perhaps this is the greatest injustice of all in the greatest man-made disaster of the century.

Blair wanted a legacy, well he will be remembered for Iraq above all else. Blair – this is your legacy …

THE LONG GAME AKA THE WAITING GAME AKA THE NUMBERS GAME

It wasn’t exactly subtle, but the sentiment being expressed came almost three decades before the September 11th atrocities brought the word ‘jihad’ fully to the public’s attention. The world was different back then and thoughts of a second prolonged battle for Europe was hardly likely to enter the consciousness of the peoples of this continent. Of course we now know that the Algerian president was merely stating his faith’s vision of a future in which Islam conquers Europe. This is a reality now dawning on many Europeans as inevitable, so long as opposition to it continues to be suppressed by home-grown traitors and deluded liberals.

Yet still it is only a small minority of western Europeans who regard events in the Balkans with any degree of concern. This apparent lack of urgency is almost certainly down to the ‘arms length/hands off approach’ in that the Balkans are so far away it either fails to register at all and when challenged evokes a ‘what has it got to do with me’ attitude. Well, it does matter if you live in France, Denmark, Spain, Britain or anywhere else in western Europe for that matter. What has happened in Kosovo, the Presevo Valley, western Macedonia and parts of Bosnia in recent times will eventually happen to our nations in the west. Ethnic cleansing of the Christian Slavs and other non-Muslim peoples of the Balkans is the consequence of the numbers game being tipped in Islam’s favour. Muslims have colonised these areas to such an extent that the aggressive nature of their faith can be exercised to its harshest realities. There is no need for a cloak of ‘peace’ when the numbers game is being won, but the same game is currently being played in countries across western Europe, including Britain.

The reason why Muslims aren’t rampaging through Birmistan and Londinistan is because the time is not yet right, the current score in the numbers game is not yet sufficient for total conquest. This is why an overwhelming majority of Muslims here are not terrorists because they know they can win everything decreed to them by Allah by stealth and patience ie. the waiting game or the long game, essentially both linked to the numbers game. And why are they so good at this form of conquest? Well the Algerian president said it himself: “Victory will come to us from the wombs of our women”.

If we go back to Kosovo in particular we can see how Muslims colonise areas by eclipsing the birth-rate of the host population. Albanians in Kosovo have the largest population growth in Europe and between 1948 and 1991 their population increased by 300% compared to a mere 12% growth in the Serb population. Please note that this took place before the violent campaign of ethnic cleansing began in the late 1990s.

There will be no stand at the gates of Vienna this time round and there will be no land on which to retreat. The enemy is no longer at the gates, it has already breached them and as you read this very article the Muslim enclaves are continuing to grow across Europe. And assuming that the forecast of the Algerian president is realised, the history books of the future will tell how the conquest of Europe began with something known as MASS IMMIGRATION.

DARLING’S DEMON DRINK

As expected the budget increased the tax burden for the much persecuted ‘gang of three’. The drinker, smoker and driver were punished in customary fashion, although on this occasion it seems the drinker came off the worse for wear (please excuse the pun).

In the run-up to Alastair Darling’s debut budget all the media coverage was focused on binge drinking and its supposedly inseparable relationship with anti-social behaviour. Of course no-one would doubt that a significant minority of British people react badly to booze, but this has always been the case and whether we like it or not it remains a significant component of British culture. As a nation we are renowned for our consumption of booze, but on the continent this often converges with other activities, notably football hooliganism, and the link between the two becomes inseparable. Most Brits are not football hooligans, likewise most Brits do not smash up bus shelters on a Friday night. Hordes of politicians and stuck up newspaper columnists have recently created a wave of propaganda aimed at uniting the public’s perception of binge drinking and anti-social behaviour as one and the same.

It is upon the crest of this wave that Mr Darling has found it oh so acceptable to fleece the drinker. And yet it wasn’t enough for some Tory MPs who heckled so vociferously when he announced his imminent tax hikes on wine, beer, cider and spirits. Of course the Tory boys enjoy a drink like the rest of us, but then the rest of us are not on £100k salaries plus obscene expenses. Should we really be surprised that these parasites would happily deprive their elderly constituents of one of the few social pleasures still open to them ie. a few pints down the pub? That’s who will be hit the hardest, not the pretty young things who trawl through Broad Street on a Saturday night.

It’s cuckoo land stuff to suggest that kids who already pay £3.50 for a pint of lager or a bottle of alcopops will suddenly baulk at a price something more like £4. Let’s not forget that the government has been hammering smokers for tax for years and this has not exactly led to droves of people quitting due to cost. Let’s also remember that raising booze duty has never been about health issues, it’s about raising revenue. After-all, that’s what a budget is about.

Birmingham City Council is also engaging in its own booze-related conflict, although dare we say that this is probably a more honest attempt at tackling anti-social behaviour. Gangs of kids roaming our streets at night are undoubtedly involved in some form of criminal behaviour at some point, drink-related or not. The council’s licensing committee recently voted unanimously to make city streets an alcohol-free zone in an attempt to pacify the gangs. This would enable plod to confiscate drink on the spot, powers already afforded them in 44 existing alcohol-free zones around the city. The new proposal would extend these areas to encompass the whole city.

However, as with the budget, would this actually have any effect on the levels of anti-social behaviour? People smoke cannabis quite openly in Brum without fear of the police, so why should an alcohol ban deter youths from their Frosty Jacks? The scum off the streets are going to drink regardless of what a sign on a lamp-post says, as are they likely to continue mugging pensioners and smashing up phone boxes. The problems here are social and domestic. Raising taxes on booze and implementing fancy alcohol-free initiatives just ain’t gonna work.

BLEEDING HEARTS AS NIGERIAN IS FINALLY DEPORTED

The bleeding heart liberals were in utter despair this week as long-term mascot Jumoke Adediwura was finally deported. The Nigerian mother of two had been living in Kings Heath since coming to Britain in 2003. You won’t be surprised to discover that she suffered abuse in her homeland after she had the audacity to convert from Islam to Christianity! However, as we pointed out in our original post relating to this story Nigeria is only partially conquered by Islam and we suggested that it might have been somewhat more appropriate if she merely relocated to the Christian south of the country. That’s instead of traipsing through a dozen countries in order to reach the land of free money, otherwise known as soft touch UK.

On one hand the liberal self-loathing brigade are pouring out the gruesome details regarding Ms Adediwura’s ill-treatment at the hands of her Muslim family back home and on the other they are saying that she has been treated ‘worse than an animal’ by the Home Office. One of them is quoted by the Birmingham Post as saying: “We are horrified that a so-called civilised country could treat any human being like that, let alone a woman and her two children.”

This is a namby pamby do-gooder at their worst. While we are sympathetic to anyone who is persecuted in such an inhumane way by Islamo-fascists that is no excuse to throw away the Geneva Convention and open the floodgates. She had crossed safe countries in order to get here, but she did not claim asylum there. Just for once the government has got it right!

HOW THE ‘BRUM ELEVEN’ VOTED

Two days ago the Tories failed to force New Labour to live up to its 2005 manifesto pledge to hold a public referendum on the EU constitution. Instead an overwhelming majority of Labour MPs voted to deny the public their say on the matter and in the process confirmed their complete lack of integrity, disregard for democracy and support for abandoning our national sovereignty. A handful of Labour MPs did manage to pull themselves away from their anti-British routine to rebel against Gordon Brown, but the Tory motion was defeated by 311 to 248.

Now that Labour have gone back on their manifesto pledge yet another chunk of British sovereignty will taken away from us. One wonders why a nation such as Serbia is so keen to join the EU when it is currently locked in such a crucial battle over securing its sovereignty - any future Serb membership of the EU would see its national sovereignty stripped bare anyway!

Meanwhile, closer to home let’s see exactly how our very own Birmingham MPs voted in the crucial debate on Wednesday. The treacherous Labour parasites who voted AGAINST the referendum were as follows:

WHOSE SIDE IS SCOTT-LEE ON?

Sir Paul Scott-Lee is like a deer caught in the headlights of an approaching car, he just doesn’t know which way to turn. It should be pretty simple for the Chief Constable of West Midlands Police, whatever the subject matter he must surely come down on the side of the law. Yet surprisingly he finds this concept rather confusing. On one hand he is busy deploying his officers to harass law-abiding members of the BNP (think Mike Bell, Les Orton, Denis Adams, Karen Lawrie, Dave Gould to name a few) while on the other he is protecting criminal elements within the Muslim community who preach ultra-violent extremist rhetoric. It just doesn’t add up does it?

Scott-Lee’s response to Channel 4’s ‘Undercover Mosque’ documentary is legendary, but his failed attempts to have the producers prosecuted for daring to expose the preachers of death has now taken another twist. The production company behind the Dispatches programme has announced it is going to sue West Midlands Police, along with the Crown Prosecution Service, for libel!

Hardcash Productions issued the following press release: “The statements made by both the West Midlands Police and the CPS were completely unfounded and seriously damaging to our reputation. We feel the only way to set the record straight once and for all is to pursue this matter through a libel action.”

Channel 4 has lent its full support to the producers: “We fully support this libel action as we feel that it is the only way to vindicate their reputations and to prove this was a responsible piece of public interest journalism.” Proceeds from a successful action would be donated to charity.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police responded to the news by saying they were in ‘discussions with the programme makers with a view to reaching an appropriate solution.’ But will an apology be enough to deter Hardcash from their present course of action? Should we expect a public apology from Paul Scott-Lee? We won’t hold our breath, it’s only taxpayers money after-all.

The Chief Constable was in the news again yesterday, only this time he was singing a different tune. Perhaps he was being mindful of the way many non-Muslims regarded his defence of the mosque preachers: “The terrorist of 10 years' time is going to school and is a normal eight or nine-year-old, but something will happen to one or two of them before they are 20. How do we identify that?” Er, perhaps there wouldn’t be so many to identify if you weren’t keeping the preachers of death out of prison!

Sir Paul also defended himself against accusations that the Muslim community were ‘living in fear’ of the police following last year’s early morning raids to detain suspects in the soldier kidnap plot: “When people say to me, do I victimise communities, the answer is no. When people say do I target communities, I say no, I target criminals.”

We’d like to remind him of another early morning raid, one that had nothing to do with criminals and everything to do with victimising a community on the basis of their political beliefs – the arrest of Mike Bell at his Northfield home two years ago. The South Birmingham BNP organiser was rudely awoken early one morning and in front of his young family his house was searched and after seizing perfectly legal BNP literature he was arrested and taken away. He spent all day in a cell before being released without charge – he had not even been asked a single question. This was blatant intimidation of a law-abiding representative of the nationalist community, but to Sir Paul Scott-Lee it is perfectly acceptable.

MEDIA SUBVERTS THE TRUTH (SHOCK)

Both local and national media outlets are currently in the process of informing the public about a couple of child abduction cases here in Brum. However, as per usual they have been selective in their reporting and in some cases we can show them here to have lied. The truth of the story is that West Midlands Police are currently seeking two suspects over an abduction that took place in Erdington and an attempted abduction in Alum Rock. The suspect in the first case is described as white, while the second suspect is described as Asian.

Now what do you think the press might have done today? That’s right folks – they have been scrambling over each other to release the ethnicity of the white abductor, but have neglected to mention the ethnicity in the Alum Rock case. But that’s not all, the original description issued in light of the Alum Rock suspect was also a white male, although police have now rectified this error after interviewing witnesses. However, contrary to the second (corrected) press release there are still reports coming out that the same white driver was responsible for both incidents. Here is a link to a Yahoo report that errs in this way.

Also, why did the police issue a description BEFORE interviewing witnesses? Then again, in multi-cultural Brum we are only too familiar with media/police subversion of the truth!

CITY OF A THOUSAND CRIMES PART III

The third instalment of this unfortunate series includes arson, armed robbery, theft, burglary, terror-related offences and general violence. A gang of gun-toting crims breached the plush surroundings of the Mailbox last month as around 15 shots were fired inside an Indian restaurant at the upmarket complex. Luckily no-one was hurt in the attack on Friday 15th February. Our main round-up begins in Stockland Green …

Police have linked separate attacks on two premises either side of the city that both took place in the early hours of Monday 11th February. The first attack created scenes reminiscent of the Glasgow Airport attack and involved a Land Rover ploughing into an Indian restaurant and catching fire. No-one was hurt and the driver fled the scene. The incident took place in the Muslim half of Stockland Green and was followed half an hour later by an arson attack in Alum Rock (also a Muslim area, as if you didn’t know). It is not clear how or why the police have linked the two incidents.
Three members of staff arrived at the Lidl supermarket in Alum Rock on the morning of January 24th to open up for the day ahead. What followed next was a terrifying ordeal in which the workers were marched into the back of the store at gunpoint by a four-strong gang. As the safe was being emptied a shot was fired into the back of one of the hostages, though it is not known whether this was accidental. Luckily the man survived and he was later released from hospital after the shotgun pellets had been removed. The gang were described as ‘dark-skinned men in their late teens or early 20s’. Alum Rock was once again the focus of violent crime with a shooting on the night of Saturday 22nd February. The 20-year-old victim was shot inside the Bollywood Music and Video Store on Alum Rock Road and is recovering in hospital. Some local shopkeepers seemed more bothered about loss of business resulting from the attack, rather than the welfare of the victim. Mazhar Iqbal, a father of five, told the Birmingham Mail: “We normally open on a Sunday but we had to close because the road was closed and there was police all over the place. We lost a day's taking as Sunday is a busy day. It's not good having a shooting so close to us. This road doesn't have a good reputation and this will make business go away.”
A security guard was relieved of several thousand pounds when he made a cash drop at the Halifax bank in Sparkhill on Monday 24th February. The two Asian robbers pounced just after 11am and threatened the guard with a knife and an axe. Their getaway car was later found nearby and had been stolen in Hall Green two days earlier. The stolen car had been driven by a third accomplice.
A brave member of the public confronted a gang who were trying to rob a convenience store on Saturday 23rd February. The three thugs were attempting to steal cash from the till, but the Asian shopkeeper was having none of it and hurled a bottle of wine at one of the men. Amid the confusion the only customer in the shop grappled with another member of the gang and in return received several blows to the head with a hammer. The gang succeeded in emptying the till before fleeing. The man was rushed to hospital with blood pouring from the wounds on his head. No description is given of the attackers, but put this way – it happened in Handsworth.
Two men have been jailed for the armed robbery of a pub in Hodge Hill in May 2007. Leon Morris, 22, of Ladywood and John Harriman, 26, of no fixed address, threatened the manager of The Raven with a sawn-off shotgun and sprayed him with CS gas before making off with more than £10k from the safe. The pair were caught ‘by chance’ 20 minutes later as they were transporting their gains to a garage on the other side of the city in Ladywood. Two police officers were watching from an unmarked police car as the getaway car was being put into storage. PCs Gavin Blease and Richard Cundy followed the car into the garage and a struggle ensued in which the shotgun went off, albeit luckily into the ground.
Following the theft of the MoD laptop in Edgbaston recently there has been a fresh data theft, this time from Birmingham Magistrates Court. A laptop was stolen from an office over the Christmas period and contains convicts’ details. Oddly, the theft was not reported to police until January 14th and HM Courts Service has insisted that the laptop does not contain details of witnesses or victims.
Callous thieves have stolen several war medals during a burglary in Yardley. In a cruel twist the theft took place on the fifth anniversary of the death of WWII veteran Ron Lloyd who had left the medals to his 26-year-old grandson. His Second World War honours included the Italy Star, the Battle of Britain medal and the Oak Leaf medal. The Royal Marine hero was also forced to trek 150 miles across Yugoslavia after being shot and wounded in the fight to liberate the country during the Second World War. His son told the Birmingham Mail: “They don't make people like my dad's generation any more. My son Lee is absolutely gutted because he thought the world of his grandad and treasured the medals that were left to him.” The family home was ransacked and among other items taken were passports, credit cards and family photos.
A 27-year-old man from Aston has pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing a document or recording likely to be of use to terrorists. Pa Jobe admitted offences relating to recordings on his mobile phone of the exterior of West Midlands Police HQ, an Al-Qaeda manual and a third file entitled ‘How Can I Train Myself For Jihad’.

WHAT A MUPPET!

A few weeks ago we published an article about anti-British journalist Adrian Goldberg and in particular his (uninvited) visit to a BNP meeting in Northfield. Goldberg used to be a presenter on the BBC’s Watchdog programme and also filled the morning slot on Radio WM. These days he is reduced to a weekly newspaper column in the Birmingham Mail where he calls himself ‘The Stirrer’ and a website of the same name.

A few comments were raised about the article including one from ourselves in which we requested photos of Mr Goldberg. This prompted several bizarre responses on The Stirrer forum including one in which it is suggested that the request was made in order to allow us to put Mr Goldberg on the Redwatch website. For those that don’t know, Redwatch is a site on which personal details of anti-British activists are published. However, neither Birmingham Patriot or the BNP are responsible for this site and we are not linked to it. The reason we requested photos is simply down to the fact that a) they are not easy to find and b) when your enemy looks as gormless and stupid as Mr Goldberg why wouldn’t we want to publish them on this site? To make the point again we’ll reprint the one photo we do have of the idiot …

Meanwhile, the dimwit has taken almost a week to respond to an invitation by our South Birmingham organiser to engage in a debate with the party chairman Nick Griffin. Mike Bell posted this on The Stirrer forum last Saturday, yet despite numerous responses from Mr Goldberg’s fan club the man himself responded only this morning. We cannot really be bothered as to whether the debate takes place at all, but for the record here is a link to that thread.

THE WONDERS OF THE ROMANIAN ACCESSION

The New Labour regime has never indicated any form of regret over its disastrous policy of allowing unrestricted access to the UK by eastern Europeans following the 2004 accession of eastern bloc countries to the EU. Britain was one of only three existing EU states to allow free movement and employment rights, but then New Labour have never concerned themselves with looking after the welfare of this country or its people. It was therefore inevitable that when Bulgaria and Romania joined the EU last year the same crazed policy would apply.

An 82-year-old pensioner from Handsworth almost paid the ultimate price for this madness when he was attacked in his own home last September. The pensioner had disturbed an intruder in his kitchen and was stabbed in the chest, the blade missing his heart by just two millimetres. Police have now named 18-year-old Valentin Stirbei as the prime suspect and he is top of their most wanted list with a charge of attempted murder. They believe the Romanian is still in Brum and is being harboured by his community.

That’s right folks, we apparently now have a Romanian community to add to the existing Sikh, Pakistani, Somali, Afro-Caribbean, Hungarian, Polish, Kurdish, Iraqi, Iranian, Afghan, Chinese, Congolese etc etc. There are apparently a few Brits too, but they are declining faster than the Bengal tiger. That reminds us, there’s a Bengal community too!

The attempted murder in Handsworth by a Romanian youth has echoes of the vicious crime-wave suffered by Italy in recent years. Over an 18-month period Romanians were blamed for a total of 76 murders and half of all rapes. Most of these were committed after the accession, but meanwhile in Romania itself crime has fallen by 26 per cent since it joined the EU. However, one murder in particular so disgusted the Italians that the government felt compelled to act against the newly formed Romanian community.

47-year-old Giovanni Reggiani was a housewife from Rome who was left for dead in a ditch after being raped and beaten by a 24-year-old Romanian immigrant. She died two days later. The Italian government responded to the subsequent outrage by changing the law to hasten the expulsion of ‘undesirables’. Police bulldozed Romanian camps and sent dozens of illegals packing.

Why is it that we in Britain could never expect a similar course of action from our government?

Before and after: Where's the beard gone Amjad?

The liberal anti-white media here in Brum were mightily relieved when one of the six accused in the soldier kidnap plot was cleared. Because when Amjad Mahmood was found not guilty they saw an opportunity to pull on the heartstrings of their dwindling readership. And so it came yesterday, the exclusive interview and yet more claims that the plot was either a work of fiction or just one big April fools joke. If we at the Patriot (or anyone else in the BNP) went around discussing the kidnap, torture and murder of a perceived enemy we would be banged up accordingly, only we don’t because we are neither terrorists nor find it amusing to cut someone’s head off.

The Birmingham Mail delighted itself in the use of such words as ‘harrowing’ and ‘nightmare’ to describe poor Amjad’s year-long stay in a maximum security prison. A key part of their campaign to make everyone feel sorry for him (and the Muslim community as a whole) was the fact that his third child was born while he was incarcerated awaiting trial. In addition to the ‘heart-tugging’ account of how he was now able to ‘cradle his new son’ the Mail hears how Mr Mahmood is now looking to leave his home in Alum Rock because it holds too many bad memories from the day he was arrested.

He is also angry at the way his name was apparently leaked to the press after his arrest and the subsequent publicity: “The amount of publicity I got was unbelievable. My family were virtual prisoners in their own homes. Now I'm looking for answers because nobody else had that much exposure. You can't just arrest somebody and put them in jail for a year. If the Government wanted to build bridges with the Muslim community, this was the wrong way to go about it. It caused fear in the community. They could make amends by telling me who leaked my name.”

Crying yet?

Mr Mahmood goes on to echo comments made by other members of his community, notably the mad mullah of Central Mosque. Mohammed Naseem doesn’t believe the plot existed, despite the five convictions, and Mahmood agrees: “I still don't totally believe there was any concrete plan. The police even admitted no soldier had been identified. There was no car, no house, nothing.”

We are sure there are more than a few people out there who don’t ‘totally believe’ in your innocence Mr Mahmood, but the fact remains you were found not guilty so we wouldn’t like to speculate any further.

Anyway, got to go now to mop our eyes.

THE IMMIGRATION/HIV TIMEBOMB

Hot on the heels of her revelations about eastern European prostitution, sexual health expert Sharon Myring is now warning about an ‘HIV timebomb’ in the city. She has verbally attacked Birmingham City Council for ignoring an epidemic of sexually-transmitted diseases brought in by the new colonies. Ms Myring told the health scrutiny committee: “We haven't got the resources to deal with things like co-ordinating services for new migrants in the city and talking to young Afghan men about sex. There are young men from Afghanistan coming from a very different culture and not equipped to know the risks. They go into Birmingham and are like children in a sweet shop, not knowing the high rates of infections like chlamydia.”

The influx is being monitored by just one sexual health nurse, himself a member of the foreign legion. Musiiwa Takavarasha has already screened thousands of so-called ‘asylum seekers’ and is currently uncovering around three cases of HIV every fortnight. Ms Myring notes that the rate of infection is creating a huge public health risk.

However, if white girls weren’t sleeping with newly arrived Afghan/Iraqi/African men there wouldn’t be a threat to the indigenous community. On the other hand if the immigrants weren’t here in the first place there would never be such an epidemic. That would be too simple though wouldn’t it?

THAT WICKED, VICIOUS PLOT

You are probably already aware of many of the details relating to the soldier kidnap plot via the mass media so we will try not to bore you with stuff you already know. We wanted to wait until the circus had left town in order to post this article so all the info could be collated and condensed.

When you consider the ramifications should this vile plot have succeeded, the trial has flown by. This probably has a lot to do with the fact that four of the six accused had already confessed and hence the trial was shortened significantly. Most of the key revelations that emerged during the trial concern the instigator of the plot, 37-year-old Parviz Khan from Alum Rock. We have bulleted these details as follows:

· Khan boasted to associates that he was engaged in a ‘financial war’ against the UK by claiming £1,669 per month in state benefits and then sending it abroad. “Muslims live here for one reason, to get their wealth and give it to the Muslims” he was recorded as saying by the security services. “When you take from the Kafir it makes you happy”.
· Khan referred to the July 7th bombers as ‘brothers’.
· Khan had earmarked his three-year-old daughter for marriage to a jihadi fighter and envisaged her giving birth to another generation of terrorists.
· Khan’s fourth child was born four months prior to his arrest and he had named the boy Usamah, an alternative version of the name Osama, as in Osama bin Laden.
· Khan was also recorded indoctrinating two of his sons, aged five and seven. He taught them to give throat-slitting gestures as they shouted: “Kill Bush, kill Blair”. He also asked them who they loved and they replied: “Sheikh Osama bin Laden and Sheikh Abu Hamza”.

Although Khan was given a ‘life sentence’ the judge recommended he serve a minimum of 14 years - so-called British ‘justice’.

Khan’s five accomplices were:

· Zahoor Iqbal was reportedly Khan’s deputy and the 30-year-old from Perry Barr received a seven year sentence. Police arrested Iqbal at his second home on the edge of predominantly white working-class Kingstanding which led to concerns that the Islamists were spreading out from their inner city heartlands. He was the only person to have pleaded not guilty that was convicted in relation to the plot. He tried to defend himself by claiming he was a non-practising Muslim who condemned the September 11th attacks and agreed with the invasion of Iraq. He also claimed that he visited wholesalers with Khan on the understanding that it was for aiding victims of the Kashmiri earthquake in Pakistan.

· Mohammed Irfan, 31, of Ward End was given a four year sentence. A laptop recovered from his home revealed over a thousand files of an extremist nature including how to torture victims and how to dispose of a body.

· Hamid Elasmar received three years and four months. The 44-year-old Moroccan who lived in Edgbaston was found guilty of sending equipment and materials to the Pakistan/Afghan border for use by jihadi fighters.

· Basiru Gassama pleaded guilty to failing to inform the authorities about the plot. The 30-year-old Gambian was unemployed and lived in Hodge Hill. He received two years for his part in the plot, although the prosecution found no evidence that he had selected a target for Khan. This was despite suggestions that his role was to identify a soldier of Gambian Muslim descent for the abduction/beheading. The judge recommended that Gassama be deported on completion of his sentence.

The sixth defendant was Amjad Mahmood, 32, of Alum Rock. He was cleared of two charges in that he supplied equipment for acts of terrorism and failed to inform the authorities of the soldier kidnap plot. Something Mahmood is reported to have said in the courtroom makes for interesting reading, but more on that shortly.

Here in Brum the fallout from the trial has been nothing but predictable with local councillors scrambling over each other to deny that the city is a terrorist haven. Cllr Tariq Khan (no relation to cell leader Parviz) is a Lib-Dem councillor for Washwood Heath and is apparently deaf, dumb and blind (but he sure plays mean pinball). He told the Birmingham Mail that he hasn’t ‘heard anyone saying they support terrorism’ and that he’s ‘sure people around here [Alum Rock] would condemn terrorism’. He also claims that the police raids last year were a total shock to everyone: “I still remember the morning when I watched the police investigation unfold on the TV, I couldn't believe they were arresting people in Alum Rock. It came as a total shock that took everyone by surprise, but now we want to move on.”

Statements like that only carry weight with deluded and/or naïve individuals who know absolutely nothing about Alum Rock. However, the BNP’s old friend Khalid Mahmood (no relation to Amjad) was more forthcoming with his analysis of the situation: “There were some people who were saying this was a trumped up charge and would come to nothing. They’ve got to stop burying their heads in the sand. This time it was a soldier who was the intended victim, but next time it could be someone else. This affects all of us.”

One of those who had claimed the charges were bogus was another old friend of the BNP, the chairman of Central Mosque Mohammed Naseem. He was composing all kinds of loony tunes in the aftermath of the arrests and was unrepentant even after the five convictions. His comments in the Birmingham Post seemed to suggest that in future police need to seek some sort of blessing before arresting Muslims: “We are on the same side as the police but they will always arrest members of the community on suspicion before talking to us.”

Salma Yaqoob echoed the mad mullah’s sentiment and condemned Khalid Mahmood’s comments. The Muslim pin-up girl and Respect councillor for Sparkbrook told reporters: “That’s just not true and it’s not helpful for him to say it. It was individuals who were on trial, not the Muslim community, but we keep being made to feel as if we are all under siege. Within the community, I was working hard to reassure people that they were not living in a police state, because rightly or wrongly, that was the impression that was being given.” Salma’s right, it can’t be easy being a hard-working councillor, mother of twelve and Nuts/Zoo regular. We at the Patriot love to see her flashing her bits down Ladypool Road on a Friday!

Now you may be thinking that this article has dramatically changed direction over the last few paragraphs, but that’s what happens when you combine two articles by somewhat different writers. We’ll now try and get back to the serious matter of the terrorists in our midst and the numerous claims that Alum Rock/Sparkbrook/Small Heath/Bordesley Green/Saltley/Sparkhill/Washwood Heath etc. are nothing but peace-loving, vibrant Muslim communities. This is what Amjad Mahmood (the cleared man) said in response to questions about a conversation in which Parviz Khan told him about his terrorist exploits on the Afghan border with Pakistan:

“To me this is idle chat that I have heard a lot of. I didn't take much notice of it.”

Even if it is only ‘idle chat’ it strongly suggests that these supposedly peaceful folk aspire to terrorism. With so much of this rhetoric in the Muslim community it disproves all the claims made over the course of the last week and makes those Muslim councillors a bunch of liars doesn’t it?

KOSOVO WILL RETURN TO HAUNT THE WEST

Most individuals tend to learn from their mistakes, so one would expect those carrying the supreme responsibility of government to apply the same logic as a matter of course. The actions of government can dictate people’s lives and can be the difference between the life and death of its citizens. Despite the often devastating consequences that can apply when a government gets it wrong, two national governments in particular have failed to learn from earlier mistakes.

Britain and America have engaged foreign powers in conflict together three times over the course of the last decade. Most recently they attacked and invaded Iraq, falsely accusing her of possessing weapons of mass destruction and supporting global terror. Yet who had supplied WMD and other arms to Iraq two decades earlier? That’s right, the US and Britain. Before the attack on Iraq there was the assault on Afghanistan, in retaliation for the jihadi attacks on September 11th. Yet who had supplied training to the jihadi mujahideen two decades earlier? The US and Britain - can you see a pattern emerging?

Before Bush landed in the White House there was Clinton and he too was ably assisted by Blair in the attack on what was then known as Yugoslavia. We will come back to that issue in a minute, but first ponder the other numerous errors made by Britain and America in recent years.

OK, so there were no WMD in Iraq, but there were no terrorists either – under US/British occupation the country is now full of them! By invading Iraq the two big bullies had created the very thing they had set out to supposedly dismantle ie. a base for terrorists. The US in particular fails to learn anything from the chaos it has produced in Iraq by leaving open the possibility of a similar attack on neighbouring Iran.

Also pay regard to another potential cock-up, this time relating solely to Britain. The government is in the process of supplying state of the art Typhoon fighter jets to Saudi Arabia, but apparently does not have the foresight to imagine that one day this fanatical Muslim state may turn such technology on us. It’s crazy, but developments in the former Yugoslavia show every sign of repeating this mistake much closer to home. When NATO launched air-strikes against Yugoslavia it was the planes of the US Air Force and RAF that led the bombardment. This act of aggression was supposedly in defence of Albanian Muslims who were being ethnically cleansed from Kosovo (southern Serbia) by Yugoslav forces. In reality the policy was being conducted just as vociferously by the Albanian terrorists of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). The much larger displacement of Albanians actually came as a result of the NATO bombing. However, once Yugoslavia had been forced to withdraw its forces from Kosovo the Albanians returned and ethnic cleansing of non-Muslim natives of Kosovo continued.

The non-Muslim population were overwhelmingly Serbian and the hatred unleashed against them was overseen by NATO troops. The coalition soldiers were mere witnesses to the destruction of Serb homes, churches, monasteries and cemeteries. This, combined with bombings, shootings and massacres of Serb townsfolk and villagers, has led to the present scenario where Albanian strength within Kosovo is such that they have declared themselves independent of Serbia. They have been allowed to do so because of western support, primarily that of their old allies Britain and America.

NATO troops watch as Serb homes burn

It doesn’t take a genius to work out what will happen if the new ‘state’ is ever left to its own devices. Remember that the people who will govern Kosovo are former members of the terrorist KLA. Their ‘final solution’ would undoubtedly be put into place having been given the green light to finally wipe Serbs off the Kosovo map.

Now here is where the direction of Kosovo will take one of two routes. Aggression towards the Serbs after the departure of NATO won’t be tolerated by Belgrade and Serb forces will move in to defend its people. That alone will probably be enough to spark a repeat of the 1999 conflict where NATO bombers force them out again. If that happens it is likely amid the chaos that the remaining Serb civilians will leave or be driven out. That will leave Kosovo in the firm hands of the Muslims and before long there will be terrorist training camps and a new enemy in the ‘War on Terror’ will be born. The decade-long sponsorship of an Albanian Muslim Kosovo by Britain and America is another huge blunder, but it wouldn’t be the first time they have been betrayed by their protégés…

Just two years after NATO took control of Kosovo remnants of the KLA formed the National Liberation Army (NLA) in neighbouring Macedonia. Another Albanian terrorist outfit the NLA conducted ethnic cleansing against non-Muslims in the predominantly Albanian north-west and a brief conflict ensued with the Macedonian armed forces (sound familiar?). NATO moved in, only this time on the side of the Macedonians, and the terrorists were disarmed. This insurgency was undoubtedly a direct result of NATO policy towards Kosovo, having emboldened the Muslims to enlarge their territory in neighbouring countries. This is likely to happen again sometime in the future, not necessarily in Macedonia. The map below shows the distribution of Albanians in the immediate vicinity of Kosovo.

Meanwhile, is there any hope whatsoever for Serbia? Yes, that is the other direction that Kosovo may take. Imagine the same scenario as above up to the point where military action by Serbia is required. The change of direction here relies on Serbia not being alone when it moves in. Serbia’s most vehement ally is Russia and they have already warned NATO that they may be prepared to use force to defend Kosovo. The presence of Russian forces could deter NATO from attacking Serbia, but this scenario is a tinderbox on a much larger scale. If you throw China into the mix the west would almost certainly avoid confrontation as this would lead to World War III and global disaster. This is what Russia really means when it speaks of Kosovo’s independence ‘upsetting the world order’.

If WWIII over Kosovo is avoided the likely conclusion is that internal boundaries will be drawn up to create Serbian Kosovo and Albanian Kosovo, but sovereignty for both territories would remain with Belgrade. The precedent for this is Bosnia, a former Yugoslav entity that has within its territory internal boundaries that relate to ethnic composition, including the Bosnian Serb Republic.

This is probably the best eventuality Serbs can hope for, meanwhile Britain and America will continue to make the same mistakes and who knows, perhaps one day it will be Kosovo-trained terrorists who slam a plane into Big Ben.

Islamic tradition decrees that the dead be buried within 24 hours of death. Unfortunately, for Muslims living in the lands of the non-believers this is not always possible because our laws and traditions are rooted in Christianity. This can obviously lead to friction in the community because the guest faith has a superiority complex over the host faith. Muslims generally do not respect our laws and this week we have seen a potentially explosive situation develop in Small Heath/Stechford.

The story began at a police checkpoint in Stechford last Saturday night (16th Feb). At around 9pm a car failed to stop at the checkpoint and was subsequently pursued by a police car along Bordesley Green East. The chase ended in a fatal collision when the car struck another vehicle. One of the occupants of the car being pursued died later in hospital and his twin brother is still receiving treatment for serious head injuries. Akhil Khan was 17 and from Small Heath, but unfortunately for his family the quick Muslim burial has gone for a burton.

Yesterday the family had still not received Akhil’s body from the coroners and frustration was set to boil over into violence as a mob gathered intent on besieging Stechford police station. The Birmingham Mail reports that there were ‘hundreds of family, friends and members of the local community’. From this it appears that the Muslims were sticking together, why else would so mere community members be prepared to act in unison with the bereaved family. This pack mentality harks back to another famous incident when parking attendants attempted to have an illegally parked car towed away from Alum Rock. They were surrounded and prevented from doing so by a large mob.

However, down in Small Heath yesterday as the mob gathered outside a relative’s home, local councillors were seeking to quell the planned demonstration. Zaker Choudhry and Shaukat Ali Khan (both Lib-Dems) sought a meeting with Stechford police at which the family agreed to call off the mob. Had the action gone ahead there would have been traffic mayhem on the outer circle route as well as the potential breakdown in public order ie. a riot.

A further meeting was being held with the coroner this morning to negotiate the release of the body for burial before Friday prayers.

There is no indication at this stage why the driver failed to stop at the police checkpoint, but we don’t think it was because he was in a rush to get home for tea.

MESSAGES FROM BELGRADE

Hundreds of thousands of Serbian patriots will today gather in the capital Belgrade for a mass rally organised by the government in protest at the illegal declaration of independence by Albanian Muslims in the south of the country (Kosovo). The rally will be attended by Serbs from all walks of life, from celebrities and politicians to students and workers. The flag-waving crowds will be issuing a message of defiance to the treacherous western governments, that they – the US, Britain, France, Germany, Italy - can recognise the phoney state, but Serbs will NEVER accept the theft of their land. The crowds will chant that “Kosovo is Serbia” and thanks to the wonderful medium of the internet millions of people across Europe will stand with them. Brown is not Britain, Sarkozy is not France – our peoples reject Albanian aggression, we are with you Serbia.

The message of solidarity is getting through to the average Serb. A letter from Belgrade appeared on the main BNP website on Tuesday and today a second letter has appeared, reaffirming the Anglo-Serb friendship. We reprint both letters below in chronological order.

First, I must explain you my reasons for paying any interest in British politics(nation, county…):

I was lucky enough to be born with congenital heart defect. Lucky because this unfortunate fact introduced me to Great Britain from very, very young age. In 1981 when I was just 2 and a half years old I was referred to London for a surgery and was successfully operated on by Dr James Taylor (then) of Great Ormond Streed Hospital For Sick Children. Also, my uncle who was in Kings Army during WWII fled before communists back in late 1940’s and was then living in Hounslow, West London. My late uncle was proud and honest Serbian patriot, and ’till his death grateful for everything Great Britain gave him (a refuge, new place to start…).

Because of these two facts I frequently visited Britain as a very young kid, but also later as a teenager. Needless to say, I fell in love with your way of life, your set of values, your sense of democracy, but perhaps most of all of how proud all of you were of your Queen and your Country.

Throughout my life(I always lived in Serbia) I always spoke of Britain with respect and love, doing my best to bring your culture, your history and your set of values closer to all of my Serbian friends, co-workers, relatives… Since we are both European Christians, both fighting on the same side during two great wars of XX century, since we have somewhat similar sense of humor, this wasn’t very difficult task until mid 1990s…

Story of two flags

When I was 5, my uncle bought me a Union Jack at Shepherd’s Bush market. I took it back to Belgrade and it was on the wall of my room ever since. I didn’t took it down when British pilots bombed Serbian army fighting mujahedeens in Bosnia (Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Khalid al Mihdhar, Nawaf al Hazm all slaughtered Serbs fighting along side Bosnian Muslims, they later slammed themselves into the World Trade Center, 9/11 official report http://www.9-11commission.gov/report/911Report.pdf). I didn’t took it down even when British pilot bombed Serbian Army, but also civilians and TV stations all over Serbia. I didn’t took it down because for me that flag represented much more then Tony Blair and his criminal aggression.

Last time I was in London, last June for England v Brazil game, I bought same Union Jack for my wifes’ younger brother who was always fascinated with Great Britain. He put in on the wall the second I gave it to him and I promised to take him with me next time I visit UK. Like me when I was young(er), he always dreamed of watching England play on Wembley.

Yesterday, as I watched in horror scenes from Pristina, I saw Albanian Muslims flying Union Jacks along side pictures of Muslim terrorists who killed and molested Serbian women and children. For the first time in 24 years, with tears in my eyes, I took the Union Jack off my wall and carefully tucked it in my closet. I simply have no more arguments to defend my love for Britain before my friends and I was too proud to allow myself to be associated in any way with what that flag represented in Kosovo yesterday.

I went to my wifes’ brother place later and I found him sitting alone in his room staring hopelessly into Union Jack on the wall. He asked me: “What did we ever do to them to distroy our country in this way?”. I couldn’t say a word, I ran out of answers.

The sad thing is that Serbs AND British suffer from the same people. Blair and Co. brought as much harm to Britain as they did to Serbia. I can’t blame British people because if I watched BBC long enough even I would become anti-Serb!

Once again, thank you for your kind support and I wish British people and British National Party best of luck in days and years to come.

Let me tell you that the FLAG IS ON THE WALL AGAIN. It only took few of your comments to reassure me of what that flag is all about. It’s not about Blair or (Gordon)Brown or Muslim Albanian terrorists, it’s about YOU, proud British folk, it’s about people ‘on the beaches, on the landing grounds, in the fields and in the streets, in the hills’, who will be there again if the need arise, and let us pray it never will.

Though it does not bring my land and my people back, everything I read here today gives me some hope. It’s hard times for Serbia and Britain alike. I can’t give up on Kosovo(Serbia), and I won’t give up on Britain! PERRY BARR MP DEFENDS IN-BREEDING

Khalid Mahmood has entered the debate surrounding in-breeding among Muslim families in the UK. The Perry Barr MP has joined fellow Muslims in condemning recent comments made by his Labour colleague, the Environment Minister Phil Woolas. Mr Woolas has become a target of hate having had the audacity to speak out about the unsavoury tradition of Pakistani-dissented Muslims marrying their own cousins. He was quoted as saying: “The issue we need to debate is first-cousin marriages, whereby a lot of arranged marriages are with first cousins and that produces lots of genetic problems in terms of disability.”

This rather matter of fact statement doesn’t appear to have malicious intent, yet this has not stopped the seemingly routine reaction by Muslims to call for the speaker’s head (no pun intended). A Muslim lobby group called the Muslim Public Affairs Committee (yet another one) called for the minister to be sacked.

Isn’t it amazing how just about any remark that refers to Islam can provoke an extreme reaction from the Muslim community? But the fact is we are dealing with an extreme faith and as we have seen in Kosovo over the course of the last ten years it is not showing any sign of attempting to drag itself out of the Dark Ages. Moderation is not on the agenda and Mr Mahmood’s attitude to in-breeding is symptomatic of a reluctance to follow Christianity’s lead in adapting to modern civilisation. He was an appropriate target for the media following Mr Woolas’s statement because he has himself partaken in the distasteful custom.

Mr Mahmood married his cousin Rifat in the 1980s and they spawned a child together before splitting up in 1992. There is no suggestion that there are any genetic defects in this particular offspring, but Mr Mahmood was making no apologies for the union. He called the minister’s comments ‘unhelpful’ and said it was up to individuals who they marry. We can agree on the latter, but your own cousin?!?

Another Birmingham MP was more supportive of Mr Woolas. Roger Godsiff represents the largely Muslim Sparkbrook & Small Heath constituency and although he conceded that the custom was legal under British law, he agreed with the facts: “There is a high level of genetic disorder in the Muslim community, specifically among Muslims from the Pakistani or Kashmiri community, due to marriages of first cousins. There is a lot of factual truth in what he [Mr Woolas] said, which is borne out by medical opinion. It can lead to conditions such as diabetes or kidney disease. This is simply a medical fact.”

That’s right Muslims of Britain – he was simply stating a fact.

WE ARE SERBIA WEEK

ASIAN RACISTS AND THEIR JOLLY WHITE CUSTOMERS

We all know that the success of Brum’s balti belt is not based solely on the entrepreneurial skills of the restaurant owners. Any proficiency in that department would be worthless if one took away their overwhelmingly white clientele. The fact that their businesses are effectively financed by white folk would quite rightly suggest that our community enjoys a healthy level of respect from the Asian owners in return.

No, of course it doesn’t.

We are not talking about suspiciously salty curry here, but the recent revelations that the racist bastards are refusing to employ anyone who is white. Naturally that is not quite how the liberal media have reported it, but that is no great surprise either.

The story concerns the new entry points system for workers from outside the EU. Non-EU nationals are now required to meet a 50-point quota to be able to work (legally) in the UK and Birmingham curry house owners are up in arms about it. Why? Because they only want to employ staff from the Indian sub-continent. Some journalists had the nerve to ask them why they cannot employ local people or even eastern European workers, but they went on to meekly accept the response that such an option is unacceptable due to ‘language issues’.

Hang on a minute, language issues for whom? Local people generally speak English, but eastern Europeans don’t, the response doesn’t make any sense. Perhaps they are referring to potential communication problems with their existing staff who speak only Urdu. But how do such staff communicate with English-speaking customers? Troubling, isn’t it?

The fact is that the liberal media wouldn’t scratch the surface any further because they knew deep down that they would uncover the elephant in the room, anti-white racism. Shock, horror!

That’s right, the Asians don’t want to use cheap Polish labour because Poles are white and likewise they don’t want to employ Brits either. It has nothing to do with the language barrier, it is about race. Hence the racists have deployed a pro-Muslim organisation to lobby for the continued flow of immigrant workers on their behalf.

The Immigration Advisory Service have written to immigration minister and Hodge Hill MP/comedian Liam Byrne to demand that concessions be made for workers originating from Pakistan and Bangladesh. They say that the new restrictions will cause irreparable damage to the curry industry. We say stuff that racist industry and stuff the people who keep them in business!

Racists are generally thought to be ugly white bastards with shaven heads. This is the alternative variety, Asian with beard.

MORE PROTESTS PLANNED IN ACOCKS GREEN

The campaign to preserve a piece of greenbelt in Acocks Green continued last weekend with a second protest at the site. East Birmingham BNP have taken it upon themselves to assist the residents, simply because no other organisation, political or otherwise, will. We won’t trouble you with the original story here, but a link to it can be found at the foot of this article.

Basically the fence is still there, as you can see in the picture above where East Birmingham Organiser Denis Adams ably demonstrates its 2metre height. The illegal construction of the fence has not entirely concealed the criminal activities that take place within its confines. Elderly residents in the neighbouring tower blocks still have a good view of what is going on and have reported the Asian owners for a string of offences, not least the erection of the fence itself. Although the landowner has submitted a planning application for the fence he has not received planning permission for it despite having erected it several months ago.

Other more sinister activities relate to the trees behind the fence, these are the main obstacles to the owner’s ultimate goal of developing the land, thought to be for the purpose of a Punjabi radio station. The fact that the residents were successful in obtaining tree preservation orders has not stopped several underhand attempts to kill off the trees.

Residents claim to have witnessed the landowner hammering nails into the bark late last year and his determination and confidence is growing due to a complete lack of action by the authorities. For instance the residents had to call out the fire brigade recently after he tried to set light to the trees. Despite this he was let off the hook once again and merely ‘told’ not to breach the preservation order again.

What’s more, as he is doing all this in an attempt to destroy the trees he is claiming in his planning application that he wants the fence there to ‘protect the trees’!!!

What a nerve.

Birmingham City Council have yet to even acknowledge any correspondence relating to the residents concerns and likewise the local Lib-Dem councillors and Lib-Dem MP John ‘The Mekon’ Hemming have not had much to say either. Is it because the owner is Asian, what do you think?

Meanwhile, the BNP will continue to assist in the fight to save the land and a third protest is planned later this month. The response from passers-by and motorists last week was immense and news of the campaign has spread throughout Acocks Green village.

MUSLIMS COULD FACE NEW BATTLE TO RID CITY OF PROSTITUTES

“Your mom works down Cheddar Road!”

This was a popular insult in Brum’s school playgrounds for many years, but today the infamous red light district in Balsall Heath is no more. The area is now firmly in Muslim hands and the last of the ‘working girls’ were driven out years ago.

However, in those days they were locals and they knew what they were dealing with and adapt accordingly. Today there is a new breed of prostitute at large in Brum and they’re definitely not local. Several raids on Hagley Road premises in recent years have uncovered dozens of eastern European girls working as prostitutes, but the problem is now spreading onto the streets according to sexual health advisor Sharon Myring.

She appeared before Birmingham City Council’s health scrutiny committee last month to confirm that the vice trade was on the increase in some parts of the city. She pinpointed areas around the Hagley Road brothels as being of particular concern, but expressed surprise that police had taken two eastern Europeans off street corners in Small Heath. Whether or not this ‘surprise’ had anything to do with the Islamic orientation of Small Heath is not clear, but it is clear she believes the street trade to be particularly acute in Edgbaston and Ladywood.

Of course we are not suggesting that every single male Muslim would automatically drive prostitutes out of ‘their’ area, some would undoubtedly drive them to a secluded place for sexual activity as permitted by the good book! However, we know from the Balsall Heath purge of the 90s that a determined section of the community will not stand for the presence of scantily clad western women touting for trade on the streets. Whether they are being picked up for sex by Muslim men or being purged by Muslim men both motives clearly pose a threat to the women’s safety and this is probably what Miss Myring was getting at.

Chairing the health committee was Tory councillor Deirdre Alden. She responded to Miss Myring by stating her awareness that some ‘nail bars’ were involved in trafficking girls from China and Vietnam for the purpose of prostitution. Perhaps she had consulted fellow councillor Ian ‘Cuddles’ Ward on that matter …

WE DON’T NEED ANOTHER SERVICE STATION

The M42 has never had the same reputation as the M6 ie. one of gridlock, even after the introduction of ‘traffic calming measures’ created a number of problems (contrary to what the establishment has claimed). Now the government is considering proposals for a new service station somewhere between junctions 4 and 6 that will clearly add to the chaos. Despite this the government have now despatched an inspector to look at two options, one near the airport and one near Shirley. Both would appear to involve construction on greenbelt land.

At a time when the region is being ordered to build hundreds of thousands of homes to make way for the colonisation of our homeland, the notion of building a pointless service station on greenbelt is absurd. There are two existing service stations serving this stretch of the motorway, 27 miles apart (Hopwood Park services and Tamworth services). Petrol stations are also easily accessible between the two main services at junctions 4 and 6, a distance of 7 miles. To put this all in perspective the M25 has just three service stations yet, at 117 miles in length, it is more than twice the length of the M42.

The only people to profit from a successful application on the M42 would be the developers and this is not their first attempt to desecrate the greenbelt here. A proposed service station was the subject of a public inquiry in 1999, but it was not approved on that occasion. That application would have involved the destruction of ancient woodland, 65 acres of open greenbelt and a grade II listed farmhouse. It is not yet clear what the implications of the new plans would be for the two areas in question, but environmental campaigners claim the site would be two and a half times the size of Catherine-de-Barnes.

The whole idea begs belief and rest assured local BNP groups will be resolutely opposed to both proposals.

DOES THE ‘B’ IN B.R.A.P. ACTUALLY STAND FOR ‘BLACK’?

The Birmingham Race Action Partnership (BRAP) is in the news again, this time for criticising a new stop and search policy. BRAP are upset because the government want to deploy the tactic in crime hotspots and unfortunately here in Brum some of these happen to be areas dominated by black people.

BRAP are not happy about this and claim that it could result in a repeat of Handsworth-style riots. This predictable whingeing follows Gordon Brown’s announcement that he is considering adopting new powers that no longer require police to fill out paperwork every time they stop a member of the public. At the moment police officers have to take down particulars every time they stop someone, regardless of whether the individual is consequently placed under arrest. These details include the ethnicity of the person being stopped, a requirement that enables the establishment to identify if certain groups are being specifically targeted.

Another provision is that officers have reasonable suspicion to carry out the search in the first place, but this is also for the chop if Brown gets his way. The two proposed changes drew the following response from BRAP spokesman Chris Allen: “This has been a contentious issue in British policing for some time. Since the early 1980s, many have questioned the high proportion of black and minority ethnic people being stopped and searched by police. Recent figures show that black people were four times more likely to be stopped and searched than white people. It is to prevent this type of racial profiling that rules around reasonable suspicion were first introduced. Without the requirement to demonstrate this, past experience would suggest that racial profiling is likely to increase. This could result in the police running a grave risk of further alienating and even criminalising ethnic minority communities. Reasonable suspicion was introduced to address the concerns of people involved in riots like Brixton and Handsworth. We must not forget that history can teach us a valuable lesson and so cannot ignore the risks that go hand in hand with racial profiling of suspects.”

Mr Allen and his colleagues are well aware that non-white areas form many of the crime hotspots and for instance it would be nigh on impossible for officers to find a white person to stop and search on the Soho Road. It is almost as if the black leaders of BRAP have an axe to grind where the police are concerned. They are not only playing the race card, but displaying a grudge held from the eighties and insinuating that their community will react violently.

Meanwhile, the rest of us will continue to argue that stop and search paperwork is needlessly excessive and keeps officers away from proper police work. If, as a consequence, black people are stopped in an area dominated by blacks and which has a high level of crime committed by blacks then so be it. Would we create the same rumpus if white people were being stopped in an area dominated by whites and which had a high level of crime committed by whites?

Then again, we don’t have a ‘victim’ mentality when it comes to criminals of our own ethnic background.

THE HEROES AND THE DEPRAVED

The memory is still painfully fresh, four gallant men entering a crumbling inferno in south Warwickshire in the belief that there were people still inside the factory that needed their help. They didn’t just risk their lives, they paid with them. The tragic loss of those four firefighters in Atherstone-on-Stour made national news for weeks and served as a poignant reminder of the dangers faced by our firemen and firewomen. So it is all the more sickening to hear about the vile behaviour of a small number of individuals towards members of the fire service.

Surely given their crucial service to the community it should be deemed highly unusual for a single fire crew to come under physical attack from members of the public, but sadly this is not the case. Last year there were an astonishing 158 attacks on fire crews across the region, including an incident in Birmingham in November that could have seriously maimed or even killed a number of firefighters. That particularly disturbing case related to a booby-trapped bonfire in Sheldon that concealed not only fireworks, but also a gas cylinder. Luckily the fire crew escaped unhurt on this occasion, but this was just one instance of an endemic problem that is facing crews on a daily basis up and down the country.

The Fire Brigades Union claims that the violence is even more widespread than reported because in some areas it has become so frequent that it is no longer being reported. FBU spokesman Tony Nutting said: “It is almost beyond belief that fire crews are attacked and abused while fighting fires and trying to save lives. In some areas, attacking fire crews has become a recreational activity with very serious consequences. The victims are those who live in these communities.”

This ‘recreational’ activity just about sums up New Labour’s New Britain, where our towns and cities become ever more lawless by the day and the chaos is allowed to continue because no-one takes responsibility for its prevention. It almost seems acceptable to wish that the participants might one day require the services of the firemen, but on such occasions the heroes fail to prevent the depraved from burning to death. This is a sick society that does not befit the sacrifice of the millions who have fought to defend Britannia, but that doesn’t bother the politicians who remain snug, safe and secluded in their ivory towers.

WHAT AN HONOUR THIS MULTI-CULTURALISM

The liberal dream of multi-culturalism has been pinpointed as one of the factors in the rise in so-called ‘honour killings’ in the West Midlands. The findings are contained in a report issued by the independent watchdog the Centre for Social Cohesion (CSC). The report also blames ‘police and elected representatives’ for being ‘complicit in community vigilantism’.

Shock, horror, the police and the politicians conspiring to conceal negative aspects of multi-culturalism!!!

The BNP have been saying this for years, most notably on the racist murders of whites. Vicious slayings of young white men by Muslim thugs have been routinely ignored by the media and the politicians and the police only attach racist tags to white-on-black murders such as that of Stephen Lawrence and Anthony Walker. Alas the CSC report does not delve into this particular brand of injustice, but it is still a breath of fresh air to see the establishment getting their share of the blame for what is effectively their failed experiment.

Also to blame for the rise in honour killings is the ‘religion of peace’ itself and its subjugation of women. Islamic groups in the West Midlands and the north of England were particularly active in curtailing the activities of women’s groups and the report also implicates Asian police officers and elected councillors. Specific references to Birmingham included an incident where a women’s rights activist was driven from the city by threats and intimidation from her community. The use of genital mutilation among some families in the city was also highlighted. This cruel and barbaric method involves the removal of the clitoris from Muslim girls to guard against promiscuity ie. taking the pleasure out of sex.

The report is based on 80 interviews conducted by the CSC with various witnesses and activists, plus those who have suffered directly as a result of honour-based violence. It also confirmed that the phenomenon was not exclusive to newcomers in the UK and had found examples of it among third generation Muslim immigrants. Co-author Salam Hafez has criticised the government for what she claims is a growing problem: “It is appalling that we are still witnessing these human rights abuses in the UK in 2008. These abuses, often aimed at women and the most vulnerable in the community, underline the need for the Government to develop a unified strategy for tackling honour-related crimes.”

While the Crown Prosecution Service reports an average of 10 to 12 honour killings per annum, the true extent of honour killings in the UK could not be identified because the crime lacks legal definition. Then again, perhaps it should not receive classification because as a criminal act it is alien to Britain and should not even be taking place here!

GISELA ESCAPES THE LABOUR CHOP

We recently reported on the EU referendum campaign by Edgbaston Labour MP Gisela Stuart. Her high profile campaign, backed by three other MPs, has clearly attracted the attention of Gordon Brown and his frontbenchers after she and her colleagues was summoned before Labour’s chief whip Geoff Hoon. She has been accused of ‘aiding the Tories’ by supporting a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, but she says she is merely supporting government policy as outlined in the 2005 Labour manifesto.

However, it appears that the official inquiry into her conduct has opted against disciplinary action. In return the four MPs have agreed to drop their names from future press releases pertaining to the campaign entitle ‘I Want a Referendum’. They will remain tacit supporters of the movement and Ms Stuart will continue arguing for the referendum within the House of Commons.

Gordon Brown and the overwhelming majority of Labour MPs will continue to argue that the Lisbon Treaty is not the same as the EU constitution and therefore does not require the referendum promised in the manifesto.

One Tory MP directed this broadside at Brown at the most recent PMQs: “At the last election the Government promised a referendum on the EU treaty. Now four of your MPs who are campaigning for a referendum have been told by you that they could lose the whip. Is it now the case that keeping one’s word with the voters is incompatible with membership of the Labour Party?”

BETRAYAL OF THE SILENT MAJORITY

“We do not afford Gurkhas citizenship. We pay them a pension to go back to Nepal. Yet some scallywag, some scumbag can jump on the back of a lorry, come over under the tunnel and never expect to do a day's work in his life. And if he's been here for a time waiting for a decision we give him automatic British citizenship. The world's gone mad.”

Do you think this was said across a table in the Square Peg or at the bar in the Drakes Drum? Well, the sentiment has undoubtedly been espoused in every bar up and down the country, as well as in every café, at every bus stop and in front of every TV screen. In fact the statement would be received with some degree of accord by an overwhelming majority of the population, regardless of race. And yet despite all this widespread agreement there are few who would actually choose to air such views from a pedestal.

There is fear in the land of Great Britain and the masses are silenced by a sickening establishment conspiracy that curtails free speech and aims to ostracise anyone who dares to voice an opinion that is critical of their plans.

The quote at the top of this article created a familiar chain of events that provide a good example of the subservience that is prevalent not only among the silent majority in the pubs and the bus shelters, but of those who are part of the establishment. For that statement was not lifted from a conversation in the laundrette, it was part of a magazine interview given by a Birmingham City Councillor.

Cllr John Lines, cabinet member for housing, was being interviewed for the Defence Management Journal and was merely trying to highlight social injustices suffered by British Gurkha soldiers, particularly when compared to the hospitality afforded to so-called asylum seekers. However, the oh-so predictable fallout from the interview has led Cllr Lines down the path of retraction, apology and downright betrayal of those who would have wholeheartedly agreed with him.

Why did he back down? He had already been reported to the Standard Boards of England by a former Labour councillor (Dennis Minnis) and obviously had the might of the mass media and loony left on his back, but so what? By apologising he avoids neither an official investigation or stops the name-calling. Likewise he was unlikely to lose any votes over what he said, in fact he may have expanded his support base because of it (569 BNP voters at the last election in Bartley Green). Put simply, Cllr Lines has bowed down to his masters and vowed to revert back to sheep-status once again. One might excuse the masses for not screaming their opinions from the rooftops, but people like Lines are put in place to speak on their behalf, not betray them.

Cllr Lines retracted his views and grovelled to the entire council chamber at a full council meeting on Tuesday. He said his remarks should have been directed at the government and by way of trying to claw back some pride he consequently criticised them for imposing 309 migrant families on the city. He accused ministers of bullying council officers into setting aside homes for them which, of course, they will. This is further proof that another common perception among the population is steeped in fact – that migrants have priority over indigenous individuals and families and go the head of the housing queue every time. Such a notion is dismissed as fantasy by the liberal establishment, but then they don’t have to struggle like the rest of us do. We all know someone who has been on the waiting list and it doesn’t exactly take a few weeks if you’re English.

Cllr Lines: A greater man would have stood by his views

The response to Cllr Lines’s original remarks have been particularly over the top in relation to the complaint registered with the standards body. Dennis Minnis, who hasn’t been on the council for five years, wants Cllr Lines sacked whether or not he has apologised. This vindictive little man and his spiteful political point scoring was highlighted when he spoke to the Birmingham Post: “This sort of thing will tarnish the reputation of Birmingham. I believe Coun Lines has very serious flaws where refugees and asylum seekers are concerned and should have no place in the public affairs of a diverse city like Birmingham. The comments were acting against equalities, reinforced stereotypes and could damage community relations. They could be taken as an indication of how Cllr Lines would like to see the authority move in relation to the provision of housing and other services to asylum seekers in Birmingham.”

Mr Minnis, the majority of home-grown Brummies don’t want asylum seekers in Birmingham full stop. The fact that most of them don’t vote only goes to show how disenfranchised they have become with the political process and how it is dominated by liberal idiots like you.

NO PLACE FOR MANUFACTURING IN HOCKLEY

When you pass it along the ring road it is fair to say that Brum’s historic Jewellery Quarter is in a sorry state. Wasteland lies where factories once stood and rows of shops and other businesses lie empty and decrepit. The last remaining large-scale manufacturer in the area, Icelandic firm Bakkavor, recently announced it is moving to Nottinghamshire with the loss of 125 jobs.

However, those responsible for the regeneration of the Quarter deny claims that it is destined to become a post-industrial ghost town. Andy Munro is operations director for the Jewellery Quarter Regeneration Partnership and he says the area is no longer suitable for mass production. He was honest in his assessment of the rapidly diminishing status of our industrial base and opted not to follow Bakkavor’s lead in claiming that the relocation came about due to urban pressure.

Munro told the Birmingham Post: “The reason that the company has had to move out in my opinion is not because of the urban pressure but because of the decline of manufacturing, which has meant a lot of areas becoming desolate. We do have very tight planning guidance on the Jewellery Quarter, but it doesn't include the area Bakkavor is in. This is an area where there once was a lot of heavy manufacturing, such as Swan kitchen-ware which, because of manufacturing pressures, aren't around any more. The big manufacturers, what I call the metal bashers, weren't that popular with residents and they weren't that popular with jewellery businesses.”

Patriot says: Whereas the roots of the area were forged in industry, we are now going to see a new version of the Jewellery Quarter bereft of what made it in the first place. Instead of factories and warehouses there will be shops, bars, office blocks and city flats. Sadly this transformation is not alone as it will be repeated elsewhere in the city, notably at Longbridge. Only an idiot would say there is anything positive to come from ripping the industrial heart out of what was once known as the ‘city of a thousand trades’. Let’s face it though, there are more than a few idiots out there.

Details of last minute negotiations aimed at averting the strike have now come to light and the unions appear to have significantly entrenched their position. The City Council had offered to extend termination notices until September to allow for further negotiation, as well as £3million in pay deals and other enticements. The unions rejected these proposals and went ahead with the 24-hour strike.

The chief negotiator for the council is Cllr Alan Rudge, the cabinet member for equalities and human resources. Despite the unions having dug their heels in, the Sutton Vesey councillor has said the deal is still on the table, but what is said in public not always reflects what is said in private.

A good indication of the propaganda being put about by both sides was revealed at the beginning of the strike when the council insisted that fewer than 70 schools would be affected and most neighbourhood offices would stay open. In fact over a hundred schools closed as did most neighbourhood offices. It was a weak attempt at damage limitation for the council, but let’s not overlook the role of the union leaders in all of this. Regardless of their penchant for militant communism, if you combine their support for the Labour Party and the fact that Brum has a Tory-led council you may find there are some political axes to grind. For instance the Labour group, led by Sir Albert ‘the scruff’ Bore, have been quick to exploit the crisis and throw their weight behind the strikers.

The politicised atmosphere has not been lost on Cllr Rudge who has accused London-based union leaders of pressurising Brummie workers to strike against their will. He points to negative campaigning that fails to mention that the overwhelming majority of council workers will either retain their existing salaries or gain pay rises. Perhaps Cllr Rudge is hinting that the unions won’t be as stubborn in their attitude when Labour councils adopt the same EU-dictated pay and grading review …

Meanwhile, the rest of the citizens can look forward to prolonged strikes resulting in kids roaming the streets amid growing piles of rubbish and abandoned road-works. In addition to the main picket line outside the Council House yesterday there was direct action in Perry Barr as 30 dustmen blocked the entrance to the tip. As a result refuse collections in parts of north Birmingham may not go ahead until next week. Many other parts of the city did not have their rubbish collected yesterday and as yet there is no indication as to when the service will take place.

In just one 24-hour period the strikers managed to close more than one hundred schools, 11 leisure centres, around 25 neighbourhood offices and at least 24 libraries.

God help us all if this dispute doesn’t end soon.

WELCOME TO THE GHOST TOWN

Some city services will come to a standstill today as 20,000 council workers go on strike over a controversial pay review. Schools, libraries, refuse collections and other services will be affected as the 24-hour protest takes hold. Last minute talks between union leaders and council bosses failed to avert the strike and around one third of council employees will have downed tools this morning.

The row is over proposed pay grading that will reportedly leave thousands of workers with excessive pay cuts in some instances of up to half their salaries. The irony is that the cuts are supposedly being made to fund pay rises for low-paid women employees such as cleaners. Equal pay is something for which the unions have long campaigned, but not at the expense of other workers. In this case that will leave around 5,000 council employees out of pocket.

It is not just Birmingham City Council that has been forced to restructure pay, an EU directive means that all local authorities throughout the land will have to implement equal pay deals. Other authorities will be watching developments in the Second City as a test case, but the battle-lines being drawn up show that it is not going to be a smooth transition for everyone. Unions are demanding a better deal whereby fewer workers will lose out, but several thousand employees have now received three-month termination notices that will see them heading for the dole queue if they don’t agree to new contracts.

The stalemate suggests that further prolonged strikes could be on the horizon and with Birmingham City Council’s status as the largest local authority in the UK there may be trouble ahead …

A TRAGEDY WAITING TO HAPPEN

Back in September we featured Mike Bell’s long fight to have traffic calming measures implemented on a dangerous stretch of road where he lives. The South Birmingham BNP organiser has constantly highlighted the dangers of Cofton Road in Northfield with local councillors, but his pleas have gone unheeded. It now appears that Mike’s grim assessment that someone might die before action is taken has become reality.

On the afternoon of Sunday 27th January a 60-year-old man was mown down opposite Mike’s house and was left fighting for his life in Selly Oak Hospital. His condition was said to be ‘critical, but stable’ the day after, but Mike has been unable to glean further information because the man’s father is in his 90s and suffering from cancer. Mike doesn’t want to disturb the frail pensioner as he is obviously suffering enough as it is.

The horrific collision will undoubtedly create a headache for the local Tory councillors who have already ignored a recommendation from council engineers who said that the road was in ‘urgent need of road calming measures.’ If they finally see fit to implement these findings it will surely be a case of closing the gate after the horse has bolted.

If action is still not taken to protect local pedestrians then Mike and his neighbours will continue their fight fresh with the knowledge that Cllrs Brew, Corns and Lawrence now have blood on their hands. Mike and his local colleagues just hope that they don’t actually have death on their consciences too.

CITY OF A THOUSAND CRIMES PART II

Acts of law-breaking quickly stack up in dear old Brum so although it is not long since our first foray into quick-fire crime reporting we now return for a second instalment …

Three men were arrested in connection with the missing MoD laptop, but later released without charge. The hunt continues for the infamous database containing personal details of up to 600,000 people. Will the police catch up with the thief who struck in Edgbaston last month? Don’t hold your breath.
A particularly sickening and heartless theft took place in Bordesley Green on Saturday 19^th January. Two men conned their way into the home of an elderly couple and stole almost £4,000 in cash after having failed in their efforts to rob another elderly couple in Stechford earlier in the day. The 87-year-old husband told the Birmingham Mail that the money had been intended to pay for his own funeral because he only has a few months left to live following the discovery of a tumour in his kidney. He said words couldn’t describe what he thought of the thieves, who incidentally were both white and in their 40s. We can think of two words for them – ‘callous’ and ‘scum’.
A court has heard how police accidentally stumbled across a cannabis factory while investigating a suspected burglary in Weoley Castle. Neighbours had reported a break-in after noticing that the doors to the rear of the property appeared to have been forced. However, when police arrived at the house in question they discovered cannabis being grown in every room. Two months later police apprehended the tenant, again by way of chance. He was stopped on the Aston Expressway during a routine check and was found to have £1,500 in cash on him. 30-year-old Phong Nguyen is currently on trial at Birmingham Crown Court charged with producing cannabis.
An illegal immigrant living in Sparkhill has been spared prison after being convicted of obtaining money by deception. The 48-year-old Swaziland woman has lived in Britain since 1992, but had recently sought employment using a false passport. She received a 12-month suspended sentence and was ordered to do 100 hours unpaid work. The judge made no recommendation for her deportation.
A lorry driver received a bit of shock as he made a delivery of car parts to the Jaguar plant in Castle Vale on Wednesday 23^rd January. Stowing inside were a group of six men from Iran and Iraq. On this occasion it is reported that the illegal immigrants will be deported.
Eight illegal immigrants from Brazil and Jamaica were discovered working at the College of Food and Tourism last November, but to date only three of them have been deported.
Nine eastern European women were detained when a suspect brothel was raided by police in Edgbaston last Monday. They were aged between 19 and 28, eight of them were Romanian and the ninth is Polish. A 42-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of running a brothel. The police had raided the same address two years previous and found two Albanians working as prostitutes. The ‘health studio’ is just down the road from the notorious ‘Cuddles’ brothel, also on the Hagley Road. This was raided in 2005 when 19 eastern European girls were found. Ian Ward, a Labour councillor for Shard End, is nicknamed ‘Cuddles’ in the council chamber, but we must assure our readers that this merely reflects his cuddly wholesome character!
A court has heard how a woman from Botswana was subjected to a horrific gang rape in Alum Rock by a group of Muslim men. Jamal Yusuf, 25, and Ahmed Abdi, 21, face rape charges after having been apprehended through DNA evidence. It is thought that at least three other men were involved.
A Lib-Dem candidate from Small Heath has been summoned to court to answer 11 charges of forgery. These relate to the 2006 local elections and a number of postal votes that were discovered at an address in Bordesley Green. 54-year-old Mohammed Khan was arrested the day after his wife was detained as part of the same investigation.
Staying with the 2006 local elections another Small Heath man has been in court faced with two charges of electoral fraud relating to the Foleshill ward in Coventry. Iftikar Hussain has been found guilty of forging two votes in favour of his cousin, the Tory candidate.
A third court case relating to electoral fraud is ongoing and we will issue a report following its conclusion. This case concerns the Labour candidate for Aston in the 2004 local elections, Muhammed Afzal. It’s almost as if some elements within the Muslim community have a lack of respect for our democratic system!

HURRAH FOR THE KINGSTANDING COMMUTE!

Travel West Midlands (TWM) are investing £1.4million in a new fleet of buses they claim will be so impressive that motorists will be persuaded to make a long-term switch to public transport. However, the majority of Brummies will probably never set eyes on these new ‘luxury models’. This is because there are only going to be 18 of them and they will serve only three routes, all of which departing the city centre for more affluent areas to the north of the city in neighbouring Walsall Borough. The three honoured services will be the 934 to Pheasey, 993 to Streetly and 997 to Walsall (via Streetly).

The special fleet will have air conditioning, leather seats, tinted windows and digital CCTV. They will be cleaned several times a day as will the new high-tech shelters being erected along each route. Vandalism will reportedly be patched up within 24 hours, so it seems the clean-up team will have their work cut out.

Of course in order to reach the leafier destinations it is necessary to travel along the Walsall Road through Perry Barr before deviating through Kingstanding, therefore it may be slightly unfair to suggest that TWM are giving preferential treatment to middle class areas. Having said that it is somewhat difficult to believe that such investment is coming the way of the number 8 or number 11 routes any time soon.

The most unfair aspect about these improved routes is the fact that travellers will apparently have their fares refunded if their bus is late, a benefit that will not be afforded the rest of the city’s commuters. Perhaps it is the atrocious timing affecting some routes that’s deterred TWM from applying this universally, for instance if it were to offer refunds on the outer circle route it would probably go bankrupt!

TWM are now urging people to leave their cars behind and try out the improved fleet, a tactic that’s been praised by independent commuters’ watchdog Bus Users UK. Spokesman Phil Tonks told the Birmingham Post: “They are taking away the stereotype most people have of buses as dirty, smelly and never on time.” However, therein lies the core problem because buses here are not just dirty they are filthy. In addition to this and the lack of punctuality referred to by Mr Tonks they are also not a very safe mode of transport, particularly at night when the upper decks become off-limits as they are commandeered by lawless, drug-infested yobs.

Until the day that bus travel doesn’t entail taking a trip with drunks, junkies, muggers, vagrants and out of control kids, people are going to keep using their cars at all costs. Good luck with those privileged bus services TWM, but the rest of us just don’t want to travel in a human sewer!

LIAM’S SITCOM RECEIVES ANOTHER MINISTERIAL AWARD

Hodge Hill MP Liam Byrne is already responsible for immigration down at the Home Office as well as being Minister for the West Midlands. Despite his glaring failure to produce anything positive in either post he has been handed a third ministerial role following the departure of cabinet colleague Peter Hain. The minor reshuffle arising from Hain’s resignation has resulted in our Liam taking up the post of Treasury Minister. However, the fact that he has not relinquished either of his existing ministerial roles has led to criticism from various quarters. It is being argued that his growing remit is now too large for one individual and some roles will suffer at the expense of others.

Andrew Mitchell, the Tory MP for Sutton Coldfield, heaped some bizarre praise on comedian Liam before questioning the judgement of giving him yet another job: “While it is true that Liam is one of the abler Ministers in this Government [!!!], we have been complaining that he is having difficulty doing two jobs. It is hard to see how this problem will be eased by him being given yet another one.”

Actually Andrew, he has trouble driving down the Tyburn Road let alone being a government minister!

Another Tory MP, Mid-Worcestershire’s Peter Luff, had this to say: “Liam Byrne is an MP for Birmingham, is the Home Office Minister for immigration, and then there's his role as West Midlands Minister, which the Government attaches great importance to. Now he's been handed a fourth job. The question is what's going to give? Will it be his constituents who see him less, or the West Midlands job? I hope it's not the immigration job, it's a real mess at the moment and that should be his main priority.”

Liam is notoriously off-limits from his constituency so it is not as if local people will know any different, but the really interesting fact is that immigration is apparently not seen as a full-time responsibility by Mr Brown. It is consistently voted a top priority by the public yet the immigration minister has his workload diluted by other appointments. Perhaps immigration is only important to the government if it remains uncontrolled and overlooked by the likes of Liam Byrne.

SOLDIER KIDNAP PLOT – THE TRIAL BEGINS

Four of the six Birmingham men accused of plotting to kidnap and kill a British soldier have admitted the charges. Leicester Crown Court heard that Parviz Khan, the 37-year-old ringleader from Alum Rock, planned to seize the Muslim serviceman and behead him ‘like a pig’. Unemployed Khan was described as a ‘Muslim fanatic’ who intended to videotape the killing and release the gruesome footage on the internet. It was alleged that Khan was to use drug dealers to help him kidnap the soldier as was enjoying a night out in Broad Street.

The unidentified soldier is thought to have been of Gambian extraction and Khan had enlisted another Gambian Muslim to identify a target. That man is 30-year-old Basiru Gassama from Hodge Hill. He has admitted to knowing about the plot and failing to inform the authorities.

Mohammed Irfan, 31, and Hamid Elasmar, 44, both admitted their part in the plot, but two other men have denied the charges. 32-year-old Amjad Mahmood from Alum Rock denies similar charges to that of Gassama. Zahoor Iqbal, a 30-year-old from Perry Barr, also denies possessing a computer disc likely to be of use to a terrorist. Mahmood and Iqbal are also accused of assisting in the commission of acts of terrorism.

Ringleader Khan is also said to have been part of a terrorist cell that had assisted Islamist fighters on the Afghan border with Pakistan, shipping over computer hard drives, night vision goggles and other equipment.

The ghastly plot is thought to have come to light following the bugging of Khan’s home by the security services.

MAKING WAY FOR THE COLONISTS

The government has rejected house-building proposals submitted by the shadowy EU-financed body claiming to represent the West Midlands region. The unelected (and unwanted) West Midlands Regional Assembly had proposed that 365,000 new homes be built across the region by 2026. This follows New Labour’s recent house-building diktat that looks certain to concrete over vast swathes of our countryside under the guise of ‘population growth’. Of course they never mention why the population is growing so rapidly, but then why would they? After-all, this is all part of the largest act of treachery since the beginning of the Empire ie. the colonisation of Britain by foreigners and the potential, if not inevitable, genocide of the British people.

Even the EU’s bogus assembly underestimated the gravity of what was being asked. Their own house-building figures have been rejected by the government because they are NOT enough. In a stark rebuttal of what was a huge target in itself, the Brown regime has demanded that 420,000 new homes be built, an increase of 55,000 on what had been submitted by the so-called assembly. That’s an average of 23,000 new properties built each year for the next 18 years.

So where will these new homes be built? Brownfield sites in the Black Country will account for some, likewise proposed housing developments at Longbridge and Druids Heath. However, unless Birmingham City Council and neighbouring authorities are prepared to concrete over places like Sutton Park there just isn’t the space available to accommodate such mammoth housing projects within the West Midlands conurbation. One significant area that is predominantly greenbelt (but not parkland) and consequently could be under threat is the A45 corridor between Birmingham and Coventry. This is an eight mile long stretch of countryside that if developed would create an unbroken stretch of urban land from Coventry in the east to Wolverhampton in the west.

Still, if you’re reading this from the cosy surroundings of Balsall Common or Berkswell there’s no need to panic just yet. The EU-dictated West Midlands region is not the same as the West Midlands county. The West Midlands region not only takes in its urban namesake, but extends to cover the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. This clearly opens up new possibilities and henceforth the biggest sustained threat to our greenbelt there has been since the Ice Age.

However, this shouldn’t be a question of whether for instance it’s Meriden that’s surrounded by new housing or instead it’s some distant landscape bordering Wales or Gloucestershire. All such land should be preserved as the green and pleasant arena handed down to us as our birthright. Our ancestors have farmed it for the purpose of self-sustenance for thousands of years and until the advent of mass immigration we have only ever coated it in order to house our own people. Unless the traitors in Parliament are stopped, the advent of colonisation is going to see an end to England’s green and pleasant land.

We label them traitors because that’s exactly what they are. What else would you call those who seek to make their own people the new American Indians, forced out by the newcomers to live on reservations called Telford, Tamworth and Redditch. There is even a suggestion that new towns or even a new city could be built in order to meet Brown’s housing targets, although it is more likely that hundreds of smaller developments will take place mainly around existing towns and cities. So while residents on the outskirts of Redditch may see green fields when they look out of their window now, in a few years time it is likely that their existing view will be obscured by unsightly new housing.

Meriden: Will the centre of England become the centre of just another housing estate?

Who knows, with the speed and growth of the colonisation process we may one day see the boundaries of Brummagem link up with the likes of Lichfield, Bromsgrove and Tamworth.

We do not use words such as ‘colonisation’ and ‘genocide’ lightly, but there is no other way to describe what is being done to us. We (the British people) are being systematically displaced, removed and ultimately replaced. Birmingham, London, Leicester – they are the short-term future for every town and city in these islands, the long-term reality is far more terrifying. You can run, but you can’t hide.
